If you have been following our Two Classy Chics blog for the past year you will already know that I am a huge fan of Berkshire Blanket and own at least 7 of them here in my home plus this is the third blanket that I have received for review. I guess you could say that we are “Berkshire Blanket” addicts! LOL

For my review the company sent me the VelvetLoft Heavy Weight Blanket  with Satin Binding which is absolutely gorgeous! My daughter is getting married in early September and she picked out this blanket in the dark eggplant color in a king size. It is going to look gorgeous in her master bedroom once the house has been completed. She is doing the room in dark purple, light purple, dark gray and light gray.

This is a very thick and heavy weight blanket so I feel it is best for use in the Fall and Winter in cooler/cold climates. Each of the blankets (no matter which size you select) is a little over-sized and I love that as it helps it to drape beautifully down the sides of your bed. The color palette for this collection is gorgeous (midnight blue, Eggplant, Colt and Loden).

The blanket is beautifully finished off with a 2″ matte satin binding which really enhances the luxurious look and feel of it. You feel like royalty snuggled up underneath it because it is one of softest blankets I have ever felt! No kidding! It feels dreamy against your bare skin!

It is machine washable (no bleach) and air dry so I would recommend laundering it in the Spring and late Summer months so you can hang it outside to dry. (Plus, your neighbors will see it and get very jealous!).
