Family Fun at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Family Fun at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal KingdomWe took the family down to Disney and had a wonderful time. We stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge which was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed while visiting Disney. It’s family-friendly (obviously) with a lot of fun things to do at the lodge and nearby. If interested, you can look them up online.

Anyway, my 2 children loved our adventure! We’re a family that enjoys visiting safari parks, wildlife centers, and zoos. It’s a great way to teach my kids all about animals and animal conservation. They learn a lot and appreciate the beautiful creatures that inhabit our planet. It allows them to get up close and personal with them.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

This was a quickie trip down to Florida and we only stayed for the weekend, so it was non-stop running. We sure were exhausted once we got home. I do recommend that you plan a longer trip of at least 4-5 days if not longer. That of course depends on how much you want to see and do.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

In my blog post today I’m showing you a few of the animals we saw at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s a beautiful place to visit! You’ll be doing a lot of walking so dress appropriately for current weather conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes! You can pick up a safari animal guide at the front desk or find one located in your guest room.
