My Review: The generous folks over at Vat19 sent us their Saturator AK-47 Automatic Water Gun that sells for $19.99 to review for all of you. My hubby is almost 50 years old but we spend a lot of time with our grand daughter, nieces and nephews so we are always planning play dates with the kids so….hubby was really excited to receive this item so that he can use it during one of those play dates with the kids. You see…the kids love playing outdoors with him and during the summertime they have water fights in and out of the pool and now hubby has his very own water gun to get the kids back! LOL
About The Product: This is a motorized water gun so you will need to add your own batteries and it is made for ages 8 and up. The water gun will shoot 4 bullets of water every second and will shoot the water up to 20 feet away! It has realistic sound effects and has a removable cartridge that you fill up with your tap or hose water and then place it back onto the gun so that it’s ready for action.
Overall Impression: Hubby and the kids absolutely love this new water gun! Even though it is shaped like an AK-47 there is no mistaking it for a real gun which we really appreciate that you can tell immediately that it’s a toy gun! The water gun was easy for the kids (and adult) to fill up and to use. They love how “powerful” the stream of water is when it comes out of the gun and they love how far it shoots the water. Hubby loves that there is NO pumping action on the gun because it is motorized so it is basically automatic which is easier on his hands. One of the best features of this water gun is that there is a little plastic plug type thing inside the cartridge (where the water is stored) and that thing helps all of the water to disperse out of the gun. When this gun was out of water…there was NOT A DROP left in the cartridge which we feel is fabulous so that there is no leaking water when the water gun is not in use.

When you visit the Green Town Toys web site you will find that there are 2 main departments. “The Play In” and “The Play On” departments, so that you can find items easily. When you shop “The Play In” department you will find corrugated structures and furniture such as the Citadel, The Jolly Roger and the Moon Roof Funhouse. When you shop “The Play On” department you will find The Tot Pod, The Jr. Executive and the Club Chair. Prices range from $10.99 to $54.99 so all of the items are super affordable.
My Review: When I was contacted and asked if I would like to review a few of the Green Town Toys items and I of course said yes! The first item that I received was the Green Town Toys corrugated Club Chair that sells for $10.99 each. This club chair is available in 4 colors and we received the PINK in the polka dot pattern. Each item comes with a great instruction sheet and is super easy to assemble. My hubby had the club chair assembled and up within 5 minutes. When our little wee one came for her play date you should of seen how big her eyes got when she saw her new club chair!!! Wee one is 22 months old and this club chair is the PERFECT size for toddlers! She sat in her new club chair non-stop for 1 hour and watched a video with us. She didn’t want to sit on the big girl chair with Nanny…nope…she was as happy as a clam sitting in her “own” big girl chair!
We also received the matching Green Town Toys Tot Pod to review. The Tot Pod consists of a toddler sized corrugated table and two chairs. This item is also available in 4 great colors and retails for $34.99 per set. It is designed for ages 2-5 and I would say that is spot on with the age recommendation. After the movie was over…Pappy went upstairs and brought down the wee ones new Tot Pod table & chairs! I thought her eyes got as big as saucers when she saw the club chair…but this time…they were as big as planets when she saw her new table & chairs! She squealed with delight! She immediately got her monkey and placed him on a chair so he could sit at the table with her. She sat at her table for a long time coloring some new pages for my refrigerator art collection that she has been making me. Since receiving the Tot Pod table & chairs…she loves to sit and color, play or even eat her snacks at her very own table! This table & chairs set goes really nicely with her pink kitchen set that we got her for Christmas. Wow…she is one happy girl these days!
Overall Impression: We are very impressed with Green Town Toys! When I was told these were corrugated cardboard pieces I thought they would be flimsy and not sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised to see how thick and sturdy these pieces are! My 7 year old nephew even sits at the table with her and it holds him just fine. I love the shapes, sizes and the polka dot pattern is just fun! What is really cool is that these products are 100% recyclable! This is a kid-friendly and earth friendly company that makes quality products that are affordable.
