Hubby and I love playing various outdoor games so we were super excited to receive a Beach Bocce Ball set for this review. I will admit, we won’t be at the beach until Memorial Day so we had to try it out in our own backyard for now. (although, it is going to the condo come Memorial Day).

We received a top-quality beach bocce ball set that comes in a wonderful zipper closure storage and carrying case. (I love that it’s not in a cardboard box that falls apart over time). It is designed to be used on the beach or on the lawn and your family will have a blast with this outdoor game set!

Included in the Set:

• 8 Balls in bright beach-ball colors, made of tough synthetic polymers and injection-molded. Durable and shock resistant – won’t crack, chip or rust. Balls are Petanque size (the French version of Bocce) – which is 74 mm or 3 in. in diameter.
• 1 Jack (target ball) made from the same impact-resistant material.
• 1 String for measuring those ball placements too close to measure with the naked eye.
• 1 Carrying Case of durable canvas, designed with the great outdoors in mind. (We want your Beach Bocce set to last a lifetime.)

Our Beach Bocce Ball set arrived to our home super quickly and was well packaged. I love great service to my front door like that! Once it arrived, we unpacked it and were super surprised to see how well-made this set is. You can immediately tell that it’s a quality-set once you hold the balls in your hands. It comes with EVERYTHING that you need to play the game of bocce ball and it comes in a wonderful high-quality storage/carrying case. If you have never played bocce ball, there are instructions that comes with the set & there are instructions and rules on their web site too! A very easy to learn game that is really fun for the entire family and a MUST HAVE game for all of your family activities and picnics this summer!

Hubby and I had to wait a full 2 weeks before we could get out into the yard to try out our new bocce ball came. (a lot of rainy terrible weather here on the east coast!). However, once we were out into the yard playing it, we played it for hours!!! Our neighbors saw us out playing the game and eventually came over to join us. We had a blast and I bet ya on day one…we played bocce ball for 4 total hours!

The following week we had the kids over to our house and we got out the beach bocce ball game again and we had a ton of fun teaching (2) 8 year olds and (1) 12 year old how to play the game. What a great way to spend quality time with the family during a lazy weekend afternoon!

This is one quality set that you will have for many, many years! You can use it on dirt, beach sand or in your own backyard on grass. Once you are done playing for the afternoon, it all packs up nicely back inside the storage/carrying case. It doesn’t take up much space at all and we keep ours stored in our coat closet in the family room. What is super nice is that it’s so compact that when you travel for vacation you can take the set with you!

We just love our new beach bocce ball set and have played it numerous times since receiving it. We are really looking forward to taking it with us on vacation come Memorial Day down to the beach. I will get beach photos and share them with all of you in June of us playing this fabulous game on the beach!
