I don’t know about all of you…but I started my holiday shopping about 6 weeks ago. Hubby and I both have large families, so I always have to start my shopping well ahead of the big holiday.

The Blythe Bedroom Style Set comes with 95+ pieces! Wow, that is a lot of pieces to keep your little girl busy for hours when she sits down to play with it. Here is how it works:

1. Create – Set up your room with easy-glide panels. Your little girl can follow the diagram on the box or she can set up her room any way that she would like.

2. Deco – Use the Deco Bits and stickers to decorate the room. Again, she can use them however she pleases!

3. Style – Style the room like the one shown on the box or let her get creative and come up with her very own design!

We gave this set to Gia and she just squealed with delight! She is a big fan of Littlest Pet Shop toys & games and had wanted one of these style sets for the past few months. Now, she is 5 1/2 years old and we did have to “assist” her a little bit in setting up her room.

Since receiving it, she plays with it all of the time! Matter of fact, she has listed all of the other “style sets” that work with this one on her list that she will be mailing off to Santa (I mean Nanny)  later next month.

This set is absolutely adorable and I love being able to give her toys that help her to express her creativity. Not only that…ones that will entertain her for weeks & months to come, Not days! We give it a big 2-thumbs up and recommend it to all of you!

Thanks to having a daughter and a grand daughter I am pretty good at picking out the right toys & games for little girls. However, when it comes to buying cool things for little boys…well, I stink at that! Luckily for me, my hubby knows what boys want and what the like!

Hasbro has a really cool Nerf N-Strike Elite Precision Target Set that would make the perfect holiday or birthday gift for any young boy on your gift-giving list. This play set is for children ages 8 and up. I do agree with those age recommendations.

The set comes with the Nerf dart gun, suction darts, dart board and instructions. Everything comes nicely packaged in a box for gift-giving. Children can hone their skills with this precision target set! Line up their shot with the light beam and fire their darts at the target. Makes for great friendly competition among friends and/or siblings.

There are 2 different colored darts in the set so that you can compete against one another and know who’s dart belongs to who. The FireStrike Blaster (the gun) has a precision light beam to help kids line up their target up to 15 feet away. The target will hang or stand…however you want to set it up. Batteries are not included so you will need to supply two AAA batteries.

My god son just turned 8 years old and I gave this Nerf N-Strike Elite Precision Target Set to him for his Birthday. He already owns several Nerf toys so he was super excited to get this one into his hands. You should of see his face when he opened up the package and saw this inside. Oh my!!! We had a hard time getting him to open up the rest of his gifts!

Sorry I don’t have a photo of him to share with all of you but his mother prefers to NOT have his face plastered all over the internet. Sorry guys! Once he had all of his gifts opened at the party, the Nerf set was the first thing that he wanted to play with. They hung the dart board up on a tree in the backyard and he played with this thing for hours!!! From what his mom tells me, as soon as his homework is done…he is back outside playing with it & sharpening up his skills. Hubbs is going to challenge him the next time that we visit.

Overall, I think this is a really cool toy for boys! C loves that the Firestrike Blaster (shooter/gun) has that built-in precision light…it has really helped him to improve his aim and of course…the game!
