Today I would like to introduce you to the wonderful footwear company called Earth. This company believes is making & selling high quality footwear that is good for you and good for our planet. Earth Footwear sells shoes for both men and women and you will find casual styles, sandals, boots, active styles and more. If you are not familiar with the Earth brand let me tell you…you are in for a real treat! (and so are your feet!).

My Review: The generous folks over at Earth Footwear sent me a fabulous pair of Women’s sandals in their “Freesia” style. These sandals sell for $129.99 and are from their spring line. The upper on this sandal is a smooth leather that is soft & flexible. The upper is decorated with gorgeous beads and gems in a circular pattern. These are thong style sandals with a perforated suede-wrapped foot bed with a slight heel cup so that you won’t step out of them. There is a 3.7 degree incline with anatomical arch support. I would say that the sole is about 1 to 1 1/4″ thick so you have a nice cushioned sole for walking.

When my new Earth sandals arrived I immediately got them out of the box and tried them on. I loved right away how they looked on my feet but…would they be comfortable to wear was the real question. So…later that day I headed out for my 2 mile walk in the park with my walking group and decided to try out my new Earth sandals. I slipped them onto my feet and out the door I went. The first thing I want to say about these sandals is that when you put them on your feet, your feet immediately feel cushioned. There is a nice “bounce” to these sandals and I love the heel cup so that I won’t walk out of them.

In addition…I sometimes get blisters between my two toes when I wear flip-flop styled sandals but with these sandals…that is NOT an issue! There is NO break-in period with these! They are flexible and soft and very comfortable! Anyway…it was blistering hot outside during our walk and my foot NEVER sweated in these sandals so I love that perforated foot bed as it helps to keep your feet cool. The girl’s and I did our 2 mile walk and my feet were nice and comfortable the entire time. I received a slew of compliments on my new sandals. The very next day I wore them again out shopping and I had one of the sales clerk at a craft store stop me and ask me about my sandals…I of course told her all about Earth Footwear! I have been wearing my new sandals every day for the past 5 days and I love them! I can wear them casually with shorts, skirts and capri’s or I can wear them with a nice summer dress!

Overall Impression: These are the MOST comfortable pair of summer sandals I have EVER owned! I love how my feet just sink in them and I feel like I am walking on a nice soft cloud of goodness! There was no break-in period for me at all and they stay on your feet! (thanks to the heel cup). I love the gorgeous beadwork and gems on the upper vamp because it adds a lot of style & class to the look of the sandal. Furthermore, I love all of the top-stitching detail! I give these Earth sandals 10 stars out of 10 stars and I look forward to purchasing another pair for summer!
