We do a lot of traveling during throughout the year and wanted to invest in a few cat toys that would keep Tucker occupied and give him some physical exercise at the same time. We didn’t want anything that ran on electricity or used batteries.
Over on Amazon we purchased the Easyology Amazing Roller Cat Toy which features 3 interactive levels. Each level has a channel in which a ball rolls around. All your cat has to do is “swipe” at the balls with his paw and they will run through the channels.
This cat toy is made out of durable, hard plastic. It’s light-weight, so if you want to travel with it you can. It requires no electricity, no batteries, and everything you need comes included with it. You don’t need to purchase anything else.
To make this toy even more exciting for Tucker we like to sprinkle a little bit of catnip inside the channels (where the balls roll around). It attracts him and he wants to get after those balls even more. You don’t need to do that, but we do and find that he will sit there and play with his toy for hours, thanks to the addition of a little bit of catnip.
We’ve purchased a lot of cat toys for Tucker over the past few months and hands-down…the Roller Ball Cat Toy is his favorite! He plays with it every day and it keeps him occupied while giving him some much needed exercise at the same time.

My husband and I are dog lovers. We got Miss Nellari when she was 5 weeks old as a rescue dog. She’s now 10 years old and is beloved by every member in our family. She’s part Dingo and Siberian Husky with beautiful blue-gray eyes. Even at her older age she still enjoys going on long walks and visiting the neighborhood dog park.

The LifeGear Night Walker Glow Leash features reflective stitching and is 4 foot in length. It will work for dogs up to 135 lbs. in weight. It features 3 light modes: glow, slow flash and fast flash and comes with a built-in, rechargeable battery. They include the USB charging cord too!
This dog leashes fits really comfortably in your hand and is easy to attach to your dog’s collar. Our dog is a runner and a puller…this leash doesn’t cause any type of “leash burn” in the palm of your hand. It’s a nice well-made leash that isn’t going to snap or break if you have a rambunctious dog!

This dog collar is one of the best collars that we’ve ever owned. It’s easy to get on/off thanks to the push-button clip. There is a metal d-ring on it where you can attach your leash. I really like the idea of having a lighted collar and dog leash as it helps to improve visibility!
The LifeGear Night Walker Safety Light is water resistant, USB rechargeable (charging cord included), has a loop attachment, auto-on at dusk and has 3 light modes: glow, slow flash and fast flash. Plus there is a 12-hour safety flasher.
You can thread your dog’s collar through the loop and have your dog wear it that way. This is great if your out jogging, running, playing around in the woods, playing at the park, on the beach, etc. You’ll be able to spot your dog quickly…even at a distance. Even though this is made for dog walking, I could also see it being used by children. You know…threading it onto their belt and using it that way too!
All three of these new LifeGear Night Walker products are fantastic! If you’re a dog owner, they’re really a must-have for safety! If you’re not a dog owner, but know someone who is, they would make a great gift!
