Pounce Chicken Flavor Moist Cat Treats are one of Romeo’s favorite snacks. They’re made with with real chicken. Available in a variety of flavors. We purchase the 3 oz. packages for our special boy.

According to the package, the feeding instructions are as follows:

Cat’s Weight – 5 to 9 lbs. 9-11 pieces per day.

Cat’s Weight – 11 to 14 lbs. 11-13 pieces per day.

Romeo gets treats as a reward for good behavior like after we trim his nails, clean his ears, or give him a bath. We don’t give them to him any other time, so he has learned that a reward is coming after his good behavior.

He’s a big boy and we do monitor his weight. He’ll be 3 years old September 2022, so at most we give him 3-4 treats as his reward. He doesn’t particularly like crunchy hard treats, so these moist ones are perfect for him.

Bottle label is imprinted with instructions on a little game you can play with your furry friend. Really like that the treats are packaged in a plastic bottle and not a bag or box. To save money we often purchase them from the Dollar Tree or from Amazon, although Dollar Tree has them for less.

Like most cats Romeo doesn’t enjoy getting a bath. Bathtime is a real struggle, one that usually means that I end up with a few scratch marks after the battle. Both of our stress levels go through the roof at bath time.

Last month I started using Whisker City Cleansing Wipes. Each resealable package contains 100 wipes. These are grooming wipes to help simply bath time and are a one-step solution for a clean, happy kitty without the hassle of running water. You can purchase them unscented or scented.

They’re easy to use! Simply wipe down your pet while avoiding their eyes. We have a big boy, so I typically use 2-3 grooming wipes to get him clean from head to tail. The first time I used them he wasn’t thrilled, but the second, third, and forth time he was becoming a pro. It’s now routine!

How do they smell? They smell like freshly sliced oranges! It’s not over-powering at all, just the right amount of fragrance. After wiping down the boy he smells fresh and clean…with a light citrus fragrance that lasts for a few hours. After that…he just smells fresh & clean.

Cat grooming wipes are a great way to go if your furry friend hates water and bath time. They’re great to use as a replacement or in between regular baths. For smaller kitties one or two wipes will do. For larger ones you may need three or four. Once done you toss them into the trash. They’re not flushable!
