Vital Essentials is a family owned company located in Green Bay, Wisconsin and manufactures high quality raw frozen and freeze-dried pet food, snacks and treats. Vital Essentials uses only USDA certified and inspected animal protein. You can be assured that no foreign ingredients go into any Vital Essentials product and it is comforting to know that their products are made in the United States.
Many dog owners are interested in feeding their dogs raw foods. Vital Essentials’ new line of freeze dried Vital Treats makes this very convenient when it comes to treats for your dog. Why would you want to feed your dog a raw diet? In their natural habitat, a pack of canines would pursue and kill their prey. Then the biggest and strongest dog of the pack, the Alpha, would eat first, instinctively seeking out the vital organs – heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, etc. – which are full of vital essential nutrients. This vital organ mix, along with meat and bone, provides the Alpha with all it needs to thrive as one of the strongest and healthiest dogs in the pack.
If you are seeking the same benefits for your dog, Vital Essentials provides the Alpha diet comprised of meat, bone and whole vital organs and provides your pet the opportunity to lead the long, vibrant, healthy life that your pet deserves.
I tried three different flavors – Chicken Breast, Beef Tripe and Rabbit Bites. Vital Treats come in six different flavors: Beef Nibs, Chicken Breast, Turkey Giblets, Wild Alaskan Salmon, Beef Tripe and Rabbit Bites.

Our Weimaraner, Skye, and our Jack Russell Terrier, Elly, loved all three flavors of Vital Treats that we tried. They are convenient, easy to serve and come in a resealable bag to keep them fresh. If the dogs were playing in the backyard and I wanted them to come in quickly, all I had to do was shake the bag and they came running!
If you want a natural, wholesome, nutritious treat for your dog Vital Essentials Vital Treats is a great choice. The convenient packaging makes it very easy to take Vital Treats anywhere you and your dog want to go!

Whenever visiting a new house or a relative’s house, ever notice the scent (whether good, bad, or just different) as soon as you came in? I always did. People have their own scent, and especially some houses that have many creatures. Knowing that, I have …
I love surprises and I especially love treating someone else to a wonderful surprise, even my furry best pal, Colby. I was really excited when I got the chance to review a PetBox from Petbox. I have wanted to try this service for quite some …

The relationship that we have with the pets in our family is a special one. We love them & we treat them just like our kids & our grandkids. We invest in this relationship and we want our pets to live long, healthy and happy lives.
Recently I started reading the labels on pet food and was horrified at some of the ingredients I saw listed. I had never given it much thought until two months ago. Now that I am an informed consumer & pet owner, I am making much better decisions on the foods that I feed to our pets.
Let me introduce you to Purina® Beyond® Natural Dog Food which we recently had the pleasure of trying with our dog Lily. This particular one is the “Adventure” formulation which is grain free, no artificial flavors, dyes, colors or preservatives and contains no poultry by-products It is the “Tuna & Egg Recipe”.
They include real meat, poultry or fish as their number one ingredient in all dry food and pate formulas. As a pet owner, that is important to me. Pet nutritionists’ craft it, so you know you are providing an excellent, safe and healthy option for your pet.
Here is a tip for all of you: When changing your dog’s current food it is important to do it slowly. You will want to add in a little of the new food with the dog’s regular food and keep increasing the new food until you have your dog completely switched over. This will help to avoid any type of GI upset with your pooch.
As I previously stated, we received a complimentary bag of the new Purina® Beyond® Adventure Natural Dog Food to try out with Lily. Over the perioud of two weeks we made the transition quickly and easily. She experienced no GI upset along the way.
When it came to meal time, Lily was much more excited with this new dog food than with her previous one. I think she really likes having “meat” as the number #1 ingredient. Not only that, it smells good to the human owner and to the dog. Plus, it has added vitamins and minerals to help keep her healthy & strong.
As a pet owner…I am very pleased with Purina® new line of Natural Dog and Cat Foods.

To say my dog is particular about his food and snacks is an understatement. He’s the only dog I know that will take one sniff of a treat and walk away if it doesn’t meet his discerning palate! My spoiled pooch, Colby, got to assist …
A lot of dogs have bad breath. Mine certainly does. He can get into some very disgusting smells. Of course, he is a pain when I try to brush his teeth. So finding some type of dental chews that would help his breath, and maintain …
