Paying Respect to Veterans at Local War Memorials

We live in central Pennsylvania and are fortunate that we have many local  parks throughout the area. Every neighborhood seems to have at least one…if not more! In this area we’re proud of our military…all who have served Past or Present. They’re honored, respected and

Valentine’s Day is on February 14th. Do you and your spouse or SO do anything special for Valentine’s Day? Do you and the kids do anything fun together or special? My husband and I always go out dinner together but we go the weekend before or the weekend after to avoid any big crowds. We do exchange a greeting card and a gift. For my kids…we do cards, candy and take them out for something fun to do. This year we’re taking them to an indoor rock climbing place. Exercise is always a good thing after eating all of those Valentine’s Day treats!

Blog and Family Update

Blog and Family Update

Winter Season - SnowflakeTo the TCC Blog Readers,

For the past 2 weeks our family has been hit HARD by Covid. It has hit 2 households with everyone getting sick. The kids got over it within a week. The rest of us are struggling, especially my mom. She has underlying health problems so she’s having a very hard time with it. Last week the doctor diagnosed her with having Long Covid, so she’ll be fighting it for a few weeks. Terrible!

You probably noticed that for the past 2 weeks our blog schedule has been different. Now that I’m getting back up onto my feet we will be going back to our normal schedule next week with new reviews and giveaways. Had to cut them back until the family got through the Covid ordeal.

We thank you for sticking with us and your patience as our family gets through it and gets back to normal. Prayers would be appreciated. Thanks!
