You might be wondering exactly what Performance Dress Socks™ are. Balitello’s made-in-the-USA socks have several features that set them apart from ordinary socks, including:

His initial impression was that the socks were extremely comfortable, and after a full day wearing them, he was even more pleased. In particular, he found the padded heels and toes added much more cushioning than he expected. And they didn’t fall down! Here’s a direct quote: “They’re comfy. They really are.”

After he wore the socks, I checked the packaging materials and the Balitello website for laundering instructions, but found none. I opened a chat session on their website to ask about it and was told that it’s okay to put them in the washer and dryer but that I should turn the socks inside-out first. Unfortunately, they shrank a bit after a standard wash-and-dry with like-colored items. Lesson learned. From now on, I’ll let them air dry.
