For this review we’re featuring the RuMe Classic Medium Tote which is very versatile! You can use this tote every day to carry items back and forth to work, to school, to the gym, while shopping at the market etc. Plus, it’s a great tote for those who love to travel. It’s currently available in 22 different colors/patterns. It features 21″ long shoulder straps and measures 15.5″L 15.5″H 4″W (full-sizes) but collapses down to the size of a light-weight wallet when not in use.
Made out of silky-smooth polyester and is 100% machine washable so that you can keep it clean. When you’re not using it you can roll it up and secure it with the sewn-in hook & loop (velcro) closure. I love that! We travel a lot and I’m going to use mine to haul home the items we purchase while on our trip or if we have wet bathing suits…I can pack them into the tote until we get back home. It’s very light-weight and you don’t mind carrying it around with you. Toss it in your travel bag, gym bag, backpack, handbag, diaper bag, etc.
Another great use? I’ve been running back and forth to physical therapy the past few weeks and I’m currently using my RuMe Classic Medium Tote to haul my things back and forth with me. I can fit in a change of clothes (if I need them), medication, a small towel, and other personal items that I need while I’m there. With a broken arm & hand I can’t carry around a lot and I certainly can’t carry around heavy items. For this review we’re featuring the Gemline Zippered Tote from NYFifth. This all-purpose tote bag is available in 7 fun colors and can be used year-round. It measures 20″L 14″H 4″W with 29 1/2″ long shoulder straps. It’s made out of a medium-weight polyester canvas, so it’s very durable and can be machine washed (gentle cycle) when needed.
Features: The front has 2 mesh see-thru pockets to hold you water bottles, sunblock, bug spray and other items that you need to get to quickly. Between the 2 mesh pockets is a deep reach-in pocket to house other items. There is a pen-loop right above the one mesh pocket too. The tote features a zipper closure which keeps all of your belongings securely inside.
I really like how this tote has been constructed. It will stand up nicely on a counter-top, table-top or car seat when you sit it down. The 2 shoulder straps are about 1 1/4″ wide, so they’re comfortable when you sling it over your shoulder. They won’t dig into you at all. The front is a dual-tone (color) while the back is done in solid black.
