The Mailbox Monday Meme is about celebrating all of those fun things we get in our mailbox every month! These items can be giveaways/contest prizes that you won, freebie samples you snagged from the internet, gifts you received from loved ones, etc. What doesn’t it include? Yucky bills.

Guess what arrived in my mailbox last month? Three adorable coastal seashell shaped flameless battery-operated candles that I just love! You’ll only see two in the photo because I gave the third one to my granddaughter to use as a nightlight in her bedroom. I placed one in my master bathroom as a nightlight and the third one is sitting in our little sunroom. They run on batteries and have auto-timer features…I set them and they automatically come on and go off after 4 hours during the night.

A friend of mine sent me a Get Well Card with a little surprise inside it. She gifted me a gift card to my favorite coffee shop. YUM! Hubby won a giveaway at a local garage. He went in there last month to buy replacement windshield wipers. On the counter they had a bowl with entry forms that you could fill out for a chance to win a free oil change. Yup, he won! He’ll be taking in the car later this month to collect on his free oil change.

Back in August and again in October we received a styrofoam cooler with pints of gourmet ice cream from my husband’s company. We had no idea either shipment was arriving! The company he works for wanted to thank him and reward him for working & providing great service during the Covid-19 pandemic. Each cooler has had 4 different flavors of ice cream for us to enjoy! I have to admit…they were delicious and it was a fabulous surprise!

In addition we’ve received 2 samples of shampoo & conditioner, a travel-sized hair spray and hubby won 2 full-size pkgs. of his favorite toothpaste from an IG giveaway/contest. Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Last month was his birthday and he received numerous birthday cards and a few gift cards for his Birthday too!
