A couple of years ago I was introduced to Luxor Linens for the very first time and since that very first set of bed sheets, I have been totally hooked on their products. To be honest with all of you, I now own 5 sets of sheets that I use here in my own home and I have purchased 3 sets and given them as gifts. Yes, this company is my favorite when it comes to luxurious bed linens!

A few weeks ago I was sent a set of bed sheets to review for all of you. I was pretty excited about getting them since it was a style that I haven’t tried out before. What is really cool is that they monogrammed the pillowcases for me too! I am very fortunate that my husband and I both have the same initials so it worked out perfectly!

For the review I received the Valentino 1200 thread count Egyptian Cotton Sheets which is available in 9 beautiful colors. I got the ivory which is fabulous for my coastal master bedroom. I am a classics type of gal, so I usually go ivory, light beige or light gold with my bedding.

The queen size sheet set includes: (1) flat sheet (1) fitted sheet and (2) pillowcases. One of the things I love about this sheet set is the fact that the fitted sheet has elastic all of the way around it. In addition, it is slightly over-sized so it can accommodate my new pillow-top mattress.

They are machine wash & dry and are made out of 100% mercerized Egyptian cotton. What does that mean? It is the softest cotton that will ever touch your skin! Seriously, these sheets have a super soft “hand” to them and I love feeling them against my bare skin. In addition, I have very lofty bed pillows on my bed and the pillowcases allow ample room for my fluffy pillows.

Let’s talk about package presentation for once since wedding season is upon us. These sheets come beautifully packaged in a signature gift bag, satin ribbon bow and inside they are neatly folded among the tissue paper. Impressive for sure! Presentation is EVERYTHING when you are giving a luxury gift to a loved on. Now I do want to say this…these sheets are expensive but they are worth EVERY dime! My oldest set of bed sheets from Luxor Linens are now 3 or 4 years old and they look just as beautiful today as they did when I first got them. They haven’t faded, haven’t shrank and they have NO fuzzing or pilling on them at all. Seriously, I would say that after 3-4 years, I would give them a 9 out of 10 on the condition scale. These sheets are meant to last you many, many years so they are worth that investment!
