Its patented design is made with a one-piece construction that makes is extremely durable – microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. Zip Top products are available in five colors: teal, frost, gray, peach and lavender. You have the option to buy single items such as a snack bag, medium-sized cup, large dish, etc. or you can purchase them in sets like the dish set or the bag set. They even have breast milk bags for breastfeeding mothers. Prices for products range from $8.99 to $89.99 with free shipping to the United States (except for Alaska or Hawaii) for orders over $49. Products can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of receipt if they are in new, unused condition and in the original packaging.
As a mom of two boys (teenager and toddler), I go through a lot of Ziploc bags. I’m very environmentally conscious and hate waste. We are huge recyclers in our household, so when I heard about Zip Top I had to give it a try. First and foremost, I love the colors that are offered. I think teal or lavender would be my go-to colors. If you have multiple children, you could potentially give each child their own color when packing their lunches. If you don’t have children, you could pick your favorite color that is offered or pick two separate colors to differentiate between yours and your significant other. I really feel like the possibilities are endless with the colors that are offered.
Secondly, I absolutely love that its freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. I also love that you can eat right out of the container. I think the dish set would be perfect for leftover turkey chili or even a side salad. The bags or cups are perfect for fruits and vegetables and the sandwich bag is perfect for a sandwich or wrap. When you are ready to wash these products, simply place them in the dishwasher.
Lastly, I really love how easy they are to use, how versatile they are, and the fact that you can use them over and over again. Now I don’t think this product will completely replace Ziploc bags, but it will definitely cut down on how often you use them or need them which will not only save you a lot of money in the long run, but also help save our planet from unwanted waste. I really think the product is worth the price. I definitely plan on ordering more of these in the future in multiple colors so that I can mix and match.
Overall, I give these products an A+ rating. If you know someone who is always out and about, someone who always packs their lunch or someone who typically has quite a bit of leftovers, than Zip Top is the perfect product for them.

Last month I was cleaning out my kitchen linens and realized that I needed new oven mitts and hot pads. Mine were a complete mess from canning the past few months. They were stained up, falling apart, and worse of all…not great quality, so I was always getting minor burns! Shoot, I should of replaced them a long time ago!
At one of my local stores I found a set of the KitchenAid Textured Silicone Grip Mini Mitts and purchased them. You get 2 to a pack and they come in fun colors to go with your kitchen. I selected the Aqua Blue which works perfectly in my coastal themed kitchen.
Each mini mitt measures 5 1/2″ by 8″ in length. They’re durable and completely machine washable. Made out of super-thick 100% cotton. When it comes to drying them (after laundering), you want to hang them to air dry or dry flat.
Here’s a few reasons why I love them and wanted to tell you all about them!
1. You can use them if you’re right handed or left handed.
2. Size. They’re over-sized which means my hubby and I can BOTH use them.
3. Love the little silicone dots all over the palm area of the mitt. They help protect your hand from heat and help to keep things from slipping out of your hand. You get a good grip!
4. They’re lofty and thick. I really like the quilting pattern on them. They’re very insulated!
5. Each one has a hanging loop. I keep Command Performance Hooks on the inside of my cabinet doors and hang my mitts up there. Saves on drawer space.
I’ve been using my new KitchenAid Mini Mitts and love them! They’ve been getting a real workout in my kitchen. Regarding laundering…I’ve washed them 4 times so far and they still look new! I hang them on my clothesline to air dry. I’m going to pick up a second pair for myself and a pair to gift to my daughter for her Birthday. They’re fantastic!
