Where are my Americana and Primitive home decor lovers? I have a secret love for Country home decor. My mom and dad’s home is a lake house and it is decorated in Americana Country and it fits the design and location and I love it in that setting. In my own home, I do have some pieces of Country and Americana decor and I love it. Hubby is not so over the top about it, so most of the items I have are in my kitchen so I can get my fix in now and then.

I was sent two of their newest items in the shop to review for you today and it is from their line of Americana Quilted Purses and accessories. This handbag is called Old Glory and it is a quilted masterpiece and reminds me of the Rag Purses that are popular too! The bag is made with traditional 100% cotton country fabric with patterns in Navy, Maroon and Tan. The detail is awesome on this bag and it is finished with the Navy and White Star pattern fabric. It is adorned with the American Flag on the front.

This handbag is a quality piece. The quilting is everywhere on the bag. The front has two generous sized slip pockets and there are 2 side pocket, all of which are quilted inside and out. Inside, there is a beautiful plaid lining with 2 more slip pockets and a zippered pocket. The bottom of the purse has a inserted piece to make it solid and outside there are 4 little feet on the bottom of the purse to keep it clean. The top of the bag is zippered for safety. The handles are beautifully quilted for strength and sturdiness and they are a nice length so you can hand carry it or sling it over your shoulder. This bag is impeccably well made and is very sturdy! This bag will last a very long time.

I was also sent the matching Old Glory Tech Case that features a removable strap. It zips shut and inside there are 2 compartments that fits most smart phones and music devices. It can also be used as a wallet and it is the perfect size to just grab and go with the awesome wrist strap.

I love that both of these are machine washable and they are beautifully made and so sturdy! The finish is amazing on these and the fabric and color combination is awesome. It reminds of of Grandma’s old quilt but in today’s style. Viva Home Decor also has several more patterns of fabric that are darling! I am in love with the Covington Black and White pattern that is to die for! And that does not include half of the rest of the shop that I would love to own!
