My family has been getting together for the past 20 years on a regular basis for family game days. During the warmer months of the year we do outdoor games like cornhole, ring toss, bocce ball, badminton, mini golf, and more. During the colder months of the year we get together for card and board games. It’s something we all look forward to doing!

Cornhole Shootout is the perfect game for all of your family get-togethers. It’s a game that is played outdoors but could be played indoors in a larger area. This game combines the fun of basketball and cornhole into one game. It’s for ages 6 and up and for 2 or more players.

Instructions
Let’s start with the instructions. You’ll need to assemble the Shootout Boards which are really easy to assemble and takes less than 5 minutes. Nothing complicated about it. Step-by-Step written and diagram instructions. On the instruction sheet you’ll find the Game Rules and the Scoring. Again, very simple to understand.
For this game…it’s a combination of basketball and cornhole. Players (or teams) take turns tossing the beanbags into the opposite net. After each round players/teams switch sides and toss in the opposite direction. The object of the game is to be the first person (or team) to reach a score of 21 points.
This game is perfect to play anywhere! Think your backyard, family reunions, tailgating parties, camping, on the beach, summer day camp for older kids, at birthday parties, senior centers, etc. Men, Women and kids would all enjoy it!

My 8 year old son had a sleepover at our home last weekend with 2 other boys. My 15 year old daughter volunteered to sit down with all 3 boys to play The Dog Ate My Homework from University Games. She read the instructions (easy to understand) to the group and they got busy playing the game. This game doesn’t take hours to play which is perfect for this age group. The concept is simple to understand and it’s never the same game twice!
All 4 of the kids (including the 15 year old) had fun playing the game. They got a real kick out of the “shreds” coming out of the rear end of the dog. They laughed and laughed every time! Each kid couldn’t wait for his/her turn! One of the things I think is nice about this game is that your kid doesn’t have to be a math whiz, a science nerd or an expert spelling bee champion to play or win the game. It’s easy to play and fun! It quickly became my son’s favorite game to play. Okay I admit, it’s hysterical to play!!!
