Today I would like to introduce you to the company called GreenSmart who makes an eco-friendly line of Messenger Bags, Backpacks, MacBook Sleeves, Laptop Sleeves, Wine Bags and Water Bags.
This company uses eco-friendly materials in the construction of all of their products called NeoGreene Technology which is a proprietary formulation of thermoplastic elastomer foam. You can learn more about this special NeoGreene Technology by visiting their web site.
My Review: The generous folks over at GreenSmart sent me their Baringo Messenger Bag to review for all of you. The color I received is the beautiful ocean blue/gray combo but it’s also available in 3 other colors. This messenger bag is very generously sized and measures 12″ high, 16″ wide, 6″ in depth. The inside is extremely roomy and the laptop bay will hold a laptop up to 15.6″ in size.
This messenger bag is not like most others I have seen…this one is fantastic because it has a lot of great organizational features built within it. The front outside of the bag has a small zipper closure compartment which would be great to hold a wallet, tickets, passports, phones, PDA’s, etc. Anything that you want to get to quickly but yet want it to be secured. On each short side of the bag are 2 small reach-in pockets where you could put a water bottle, sunglasses, or other small type of items. On the back of the bag is a large reach-in pocket which would be great for holding magazines, folders or other type of paperwork.
The bag has two different carrying straps. On the backside of the bag is a small handle strap which you can use or you can use the adjustable carry strap to carry it around your shoulder or even crossbody. Once you open up the flap to get inside the messenger bag you will find 3 large compartments. The first one has a lot of great organizational features like 2 pen holders, 4 credit card (biz card or ID holders) plus a smaller mesh pocket which would be great for holding eyeglasses or other small items. This compartment can also hold a few other small to medium sized items. The next compartment is really large so your bigger things like a blackberry, PDA, netbook, file folders, etc. could go in this compartment and along the back wall of this compartment are 2 reach-in mesh pockets for holding little things that you need to keep organized. Finally, the third compartment is a nicely padded laptop bay which will hold a laptop or netbook up to 15.6″ in size. My medium-sized laptop (15″) fits super nicely into this laptop bay compartment.
Wow…this bag will get your organized in in a hurry and do so in a stylish and eco-friendly way. The body fabric and lining of this messenger bag are made from 100% recycled plastic. By purchasing and using this particular bottle 2 bag messenger bag you will save 31 plastic water bottles from junking up our landfills. How cool is that? Totally cool!
My husband and I are both in love with our new messenger bag and have been taking turns using it. He travels every day back and forth to the office so he gets it during the weekdays and on the weekends it is all mine!

My Review: The great folks over at Purse Bling sent me a purse organizer to review for all of you. The organizer is called “Purse to Go Pockets Plus” and I received one in the beautiful black and white damask pattern. Since I carry a large bag…my organizer in the large size which measures 13″ long by 6″ high by 3 1/2″ wide…perfect size for me & my bags!
The organizer has a center section to hold your wallet, checkbook and larger items. Around the inside lining are numerous pockets to hold things like your keys, small hair brushes, hand sanitizing gel, gum, protein bars, cell phone and other smaller things. It is really sturdy which surprised me as I have reviewed other purse organizers in the past but this one is exceptionally sturdy and I like that!
I dumped everything out of my big black hole (my purse) and placed my items into the “Purse to Go Pockets Plus” which took me about 8 minutes to do. Now when I want to switch out to a different purse all I have to do is lift the “Purse to Go Pockets Plus” out of my current handbag and drop it into the new one! I love that!!! I also love that if you buy several of them you can store your not-in-use ones flat in a drawer to save space! There are small pockets along the outside wall of the organizer so if you wanted to tuck in a pen or other slim item…you could do that too!
Overall Impression: I absolutely love this purse organizer! It is extremely well-made, fantastic size, sturdy so it will hold up to tons of use and it is pretty to look at! I love pretty things that are also functional and this item is definitely that!
