We live in a world where chemicals are all around us. The foods we eat, clothing and shoes we wear, the water we drink and so on. Short of moving to the wilderness and growing our own foods, the only thing we can do is try to control some of that chemical influence by choosing what we eat and use on and in our bodies. Choosing a natural, organic product over a chemical filled one can be pretty simple these days. I was thrilled to try some salon products that are made with all natural, vegan ingredients.

Natural Styling Balm
My hair is pretty heavy. Even with a short cut, the top has a tendency to lay down. I have never tried a natural balm before so I was curious as to how this would work. What I like is that this is in a jar. So much easier to get the amount you need and for this, a pea sized dollop is all you need.
Simply rub it through your fingers and style your hair as you normally would. I tend to do a slightly messy style so this was a cool product to play with. I was surprised at the holding power of this stuff! Your hair is still moveable, not crunchy or sticky, yet the hold is great.
It did pretty well holding up my hair. I did finish it with a touch of spray when I would go out to work as I did not want it falling, but for casual days at home, just the balm was great. It is so easy to work with and it will last you a long time. I love this product!
This firm holding balm is a cool product to use with hair accessories like Headbands or Barrettes, and styling too. It is get to help keep Braids, Spikey styles, Up-do’s, and other hair styles in place with a smooth finish. It can replace, or in my case, reduce the amount of hairspray for a lasting hold.
Natural Shampoo
I was really curious about this product. I highlight my hair and I am pretty picky about what I put in it but this product has color retention properties so that made me feel better. Plus it offers sun protection! Now that was important to me!
This shampoo is so different from any that I have used before. First off, I love a pump bottle. It makes life so much easier. Then I noticed the fresh scent. Light and clean, it is not heavily perfumed.
The unique thing with the Natural Shampoo is that there is practically no lather. It almost felt like I was using a conditioner. But I could feel it working. I could feel my hair getting that squeaky clean feeling and sound to it, so I knew it was working. That is a huge plus for babies and children. No bubbles to end up in their eye.

Another thing that was great about this shampoo is that my hair was full of body and felt great after I dried it! I thought that it would be limp like what happens when I use a conditioner (my hair does not like much conditioner!), but the results from using this shampoo was beyond my expectations. Plus, it rinsed out in a snap and the comb through was easy.
I was thoroughly pleased with both of these natural, vegan hair products. Original Sprout has many more other products for the whole family.

This item is awesome to use for quick freshening up of your hair. Perfect for after exercise, on hot sticky days, or during travel or hospital stays. No flakes, it goes on clear and immediately freshens your hair. I did not even have to comb through it. Just used a lifting comb and Done! Awesome!
CHI Dry Conditioner
A dry conditioning spray composed of a waterless formula used to condition hair ultimately providing radiant shine. Without rinsing, spray the dry conditioner from mid hair to ends and style as desired. This is a great finisher to the dry shampoo. If you have blowaway hair or dry ends, this is an easy to use product that gives results!
CHI Texturizing Spray
A flexible hold texture spray used to add texture and body to hair without weighing it down. I only use super hold sprays for my finishing and this one is a dream. A little goes a long way and I even use it alone to finger style my hair. A few spritzes and it is done. Long lasting hold and a fresh scent! Love!
CHI Spray Wax
A pliable, hold spray wax used to create textured looks while maintaining flexible and touchable strands. This is a cool product. You get all of the hold and you can style your hair bit by bit, finger style or with tools. This is so easy to use and I finished this with the Texturizing Spray for a long lasting hold all day.
These products are perfect to use for easy hair care styling on the go. Perfect for busy days and every day use! They are on my must-have list and will be staying there!
