Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Dormco where you can find a wide variety of products for college students who live in dorms and/or items for your own home. My Review: I am an outdoorsy type of person and spend a lot of time outdoors for 3 out of 4 seasons of the year. One thing that has always concerned me was my personal safety when I am out alone . I have always wanted one of those Pepper Spray Key Chains and the great folks over at Dormco sent me one to review for all of you. This is a great item for college kids, young adults and even us older adults to have!

The DeFuser Pepper Spray with Victim Protection Disable System comes in a key chain model. You can attach it to your key ring or wear it around your wrist with the included easy-to-use strap. The DeFuser becomes disabled if taken away from you (by an attacker) so your own self defense weapon can’t be used against you. I think that is a wonderful feature to have!

It features an ergonomic grip design (very easy to hold comfortably in your hand), flip-top for safety, provides maximum protection and it has been formulated in a special way that it is legal in all 50 states.

On the back of the package is all of the directions which are printed in easy to understand language along with 3 diagrams on how to use it. I practiced with it (without spraying it) just so I would know exactly how to spray an attacker should I ever face one. I am confident that I can use it correctly now that I read the directions and did a little practice run. This isn’t rocket science so trust me, you all will understand how to use it too!  I am now carrying mine on my key ring in my purse and when I am out and about (avid walker and hiker) I am wearing it around my wrist via the included wrist strap. I now feel really comfortable going out and about for my daily errands and pleasure activities alone or with other friends and family members. I absolutely LOVE this product and I hope that I never have to use it…but if I do…I will be ready! For only $23.42, I think this is a must have product for college kids and especially for us females who often go out and about alone!
