I had the opportunity to review the new Private Reserve Collection Black Orchid soy candle and oh my gosh! As soon as you open the package you smell it without it being lit! It’s not an over-powering fragrance…just a beautiful light floral that really enhances your mood.
Each candle comes beautifully gift boxed, so they’re perfect for gift-giving. The glass container holder is quality and well-made. It’s the type of glass holder that you’ll want to upcycle and reuse once you’re done using the candle. The perfect size for cotton balls, cotton swabs, make-up brushes, etc. It would look elegant in your bathroom or on top of your vanity.
Once lit…the fragrance becomes even more aromatic. Within 10 minutes I can smell it through the entire room. Again, it’s NOT over-powering. Very light and pleasant. You get a very even burn thanks to the wood wick and I love the little crackling which does remind you of a wood-burning fire. It’s so relaxing to just watch it burn!
In my honest opinion…these candles are LUXURY but it’s a luxury that you can afford! They’re not that junk you buy in a discount retail store! The fragrance lasts from the first burn to the last burn. You don’t get smoke, dark soot, or any of that stuff. Just a nice…clean and even burn. Absolutely perfect!
