Gardening: In Full Bloom
Spring has been hitting hard here in the west. I can tell because my family has all been sick with sinus infections and other yucky effects of spring. The main problem is we get rain so infrequently, when it comes, all of the mold and pollen from the trees that has been collecting for months on end comes flying around. Plus so many trees here actually bloom, allergies are at an all time high.
The nice part about spring is that everything is so beautiful in the spring. This is my neighbor’s tree in full bloom. As pretty as it is, it is a killer too! I love spring where I live but I have to admit, I am happy when the blooms are gone and the leaves begin to grow! Do you have blooming trees or allergy issues in the Spring too?

A few months ago I stumbled upon a really cool online store called ZestAvenue and instantly fell in love! When you shop at this wonderful store you will find candles, home decor, indoor furniture, outdoor furniture, seasonal decor, lighting, water fountains, pet products and so much more!
A few weeks ago I reviewed some lovely floating candles and a wicker plant stand from ZestAvenue.com and today, we are reviewing a beautiful dolphin tabletop water fountain. When I say beautiful, that really is an understatement as this piece is even prettier in person.
We moved into our new house back in January of this year and have been steadily remodeling it and decorating it in a cottage coastal style. When I saw this Delfini Dolphin Tabletop Water Fountain with LED Light, I knew it had to be mine!
This tabletop water fountain is for indoor use only and features hand-carved dolphins swimming in some ocean waves. It runs off of electricity and I appreciate that because operated items can get pretty expensive at times. It measures approximately 9″ high, 6″ long and 5″ in width…a really nice size.
What really makes this water fountain come alive is the glass sphere that is illuminated from a built-in LED light. You don’t need a lot of water to use this fountain and the water is propelled by the electric motor which spins the lighted glass sphere around. The light bouncing off your walls as it spins around is absolutely beautiful if I must say so myself!
Hubby and I placed it in our master bedroom on top of our entertainment center so that when we lay in bed at night and are watching TV, we can see it. It is really beautiful and very relaxing! I love hearing the slight sound from the water and seeing the beautiful light shine from the spinning glass sphere.
Even when you have the tabletop water fountain turned off, it’s still beautiful to look at and looks like a quality art piece in your home. It is extremely well-made and the price is super affordable at only $32.99. Great piece for yourself or to give as a gift to a loved on. We love ours!!!
