A few weeks ago my daughter and I decided to spend the day together. It was really nice to have some one-on-one time with her. We call them Mommy-Daughter Dates. On this particular date we drove the 15 minutes down to the Hershey Outlets in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful spring day and everyone seemed to be out and about.
We went into the Bali and Hanes Outlet Store because I needed some new pajamas. When I spent the 4 1/2 weeks in the hospital last fall a lot of my basic pajamas got ruined. I needed to replace them and was on the hunt for some great deals on women’s pajamas. Well I found them!
I got these super-soft pink with gray print micro-fleece pajama pants, a solid pink (cotton) pair of pajama pants, a light gray v-neck tee, a light pink scoop-neck tee and a light-weight, and a long-sleeve gray thermal henley pajama shirt. Each cost me$5.00. I got a long-sleeve light-weight thermal gray shirt with a little bit of a bell-sleeve for $5.00 and then I picked up two Champion brand t-shirts for my husband for $5.00 each. That totaled up to $40.00.
While in the store I checked out the children’s section and ended up buying a pack of white undershirts and a pack of white tank tops for my grandson. Each pack was only $5.00. In total I spent $50.00 and got all of that! Yeah baby!!! What a deal.
We went into Old Navy (I bought nothing) but my daughter purchased a few pairs of women’s shorts that were on sale for $5.00 each and a few pairs of capri-length leggings that were on sale for $10 each. They had a good sale going on but nothing really tickled my fancy.
The next store that we hit was the Adidas Outlet. Well, we lasted about 10 minutes in that store. IMHO, nothing was a bargain in there. I refuse to pay $90 for a pair of sneakers even on sale. Ridiculous! They did have some men’s t-shirts knocked down to $25 but I got just as nice of ones for $5 each at the Bali & Hanes Outlet.
After shopping we headed home. I was quite pleased with the bargains that I found. Have you been out deal hunting lately? Any good buys?

We’re into the month of March and I’m still finding some mega clearance deals on leftover Christmas and holiday merchandise! Usually I don’t find anything once we’re into the month of March, so I was pleasantly surprised to find these deals at Gabe’s a few days ago!
I purchased 4 artificial pine door wreaths on clearance for $1.00 each. I got the Christmas tinsel stocking party decoration for .50 cents and found eight medium-sized Christmas themed gift bags marked down to .50 cents each. One of the biggest deals was the Ugly Christmas Sweater! It was marked regular price of $29.99 and I got it on mega clearance for…. $1.00. Yes, that’s right, one buck! It’s perfect for me to wear to our family’s annual Ugly Christmas Sweater holiday party!!!
While at Gabe’s I did pick up a short-sleeved sweater, khaki casual pants and a really pretty dress for a total of $18.00. I purchased a pair of white denim jeans for my granddaughter for $4.00 and Superman pj pants for my grandson that were marked down to $3.00. Oh yeah, I can’t forget Romeo (our handsome kitty)…purchased him a cave-style cat bed that was marked down to $8.00. Wow!
