White Mountain is a brand of footwear that I am very familiar with. I have been buying women’s clogs from this particular brand for over 12 years. One of the reasons I love this brand is for the simple fact that their footwear is comfortable and will last for many years when properly cared for.
In the past, I have always purchased their women’s clogs and for the first time, I get to try out a pair of White Mountain sandals. When they arrived, I immediately had them out of the box and onto my feet!
Before I get rolling with my review, I want to tell you about my past experience with their clogs. Honestly, I currently own 7 pairs of White Mountain clogs but over the years I have owned at least a dozen.
The reason I kept buying them was for the simple fact that they are super comfortable and they fit a women’s foot perfectly. Way too many times we squeeze our feet into shoes that were designed for a man’s foot which leads to painful feet! In addition, their clogs are super stylish and will last for many years!
For my review I picked out the HELGA SANDAL in Taupe to try out for all of you. This particular sandal comes in additional colors in whole sizes 5 through 11. Regarding sizing, I wear a 1/2 size and decided to size up and I am glad that I did because I got the perfect fit by sizing up.
The sandals feature a genuine leather (soft suede) upper, a contoured and molded footbed, a cork footbed and adjustable straps to customize the fit. So, if you have really wide feet, narrow feet or if your feet swell towards the end of the day, adjust the straps for the perfect fit.
For the past 10 days or so I have been wearing my new summer sandals every where that I go! They look great with shorts, skirts, capris, maxi dresses and even with my denim jeans. They are really comfortable to wear and I love the arch support, toe grip bar and the nice heel cup which keeps me comfortably in them (they don’t fall off your feet). The suede footbed feels great against your bare skin.
I love them! As I previously stated, I have been a White Mountain clog wearer for many years and now I am completely hooked on their sandals! I love them so much that I want to get them in different colors & styles!

My daughter’s wedding is swiftly approaching and there is still a lot of things we need to do for her big day. Just a few weeks ago we finally purchased her wedding gown, veil and shoes. Since her wedding is being held outdoors at 6pm in the evening, we knew she would need some heel covers to protect her shoes! My daughter doesn’t want her fiance to see her shoes for the wedding, so instead she planned a date-night for them to go out and she used the heel covers on her red spiky heel shoes. I sat there and watched her and all she did was slide them onto the heels. They didn’t slide off at all and when she took them off, they didn’t damage the shoes at all. How she walks around in those high of heels, I have no clue…I would break my neck for sure! LOL
Anyway, Jenelle and the Big E went out to dinner and then dancing. We had the honor of babysitting the princess as they went out on their date night. Once she returned, those heel covers were still on and firmly in place! She has now taken them off and put them back into the storage pouch as she is saving them for her wedding day in a few months.
