My Review: I received the Mandala Gathered Waist Yoga Pant for the review. The yoga pants are made of a cotton/spandex knit fabrication so they will stretch and move with you. They feature a gathered, fold-over waist which I really like as it helps to hide my tummy bulge and it looks like I am wearing a layered tee with my yoga pants.
The yoga pants are available in size small, medium and large with a 32″ flared leg inseam. I really like the flared leg as that type of cut is figure flattering for most people. The pants have a mandala print on them and you will find that printed in a coral color on the one leg’s thigh area, and on the other leg’s calf area. According to their site, mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning circle. Mandalas are used as a spiritual tool in meditation to access deeper levels consciousness.
I am a beginner when it comes to yoga but I am an avid walker and hiker. I have been wearing these yoga pants for my yoga workouts and for walking, they are super comfortable! I love that they stretch and move with me, and thanks to the breathable cotton, my skin can breathe when it’s overheated from my workouts. They are machine wash/dry and I have laundered them several times and they continue to come out perfectly. I love them!!!

My Review: The generous folks over at Aurorae Yoga sent me one of their Aurorae Northern Lights Yoga Mats in the beautiful Passion Color Pattern for me to review. I started taking Yoga classes several months ago so I am a beginner and I just recently took 5 weeks off from Yoga due to a lengthy hospital illness and 2 surgeries so I am looking forward to picking up Yoga once again after the first of the year and trying out my new Yoga mat at that time. Until then…I will do just some simple stretching exercises and use it for my meditation.
These Yoga mats are beautiful to look at but are also super functional. Matter of fact, the mat is one of the best ones I have ever owned and I love how cushiony soft it is. It is made from eco-safe material, biodegradable and Phthalates Free so there are no harmful chemicals in this Yoga mat so you can feel good about using it or feel good about purchasing it and giving it as a gift this holiday season.
Like I previously stated…I haven’t used my new Yoga mat for a full Yoga session just yet but I can tell you that its a wonderful high-quality mat…one of the best that I have ever owned and I absolutely love the size of this mat! As I have been doing some low-key stretching exercises on the mat I have been totally comfortable on it and trust me…that is not the case with the other Yoga mats that I currently own! This Aurorae Northern Lights Yoga Mat is SGS Tested and Approved so you know this is one high-quality mat that you are going to love owning and using for your Yoga workouts!
