I’m admit…I’m a neat and clean freak. I take great pride in my home and don’t fret when unexpected guests drop in. Keeping my home neat, clean, and organized is something I actually enjoy doing. With that said, you have to have the proper tools and products to make cleaning easier.
Let’s get personal. 10 years ago I had my first total hip replacement. 7 Years later that was followed up with a total knee replacement. Then 2 years ago I fell and smashed up my arm, wrist, and had. You guessed it, replaced plus a lot of metal hardware to put it back together again. I’m disabled, so I can’t lug around heavy and cumbersome vacuum cleaners all over my home. Nope, I needed something lightweight for day to day tasks.

One of my favorite places to shop is Amazon and I purchased the PRETTYCARE Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner after reading some of the reviews. It’s a 4-in-1 vacuum that is extremely light-weight, cordless (no cords to trip over) and you can use it all over your home.
This cordless stick vacuum comes with a charging dock which we hung in my cleaning closet. It’s easy to put it on and to take it off the charging dock. Next, it doesn’t take up a lot of storage space…so great for those who live in apartments, small condos, dorms, or for people like me who are disabled and can’t lug around heavy vacuum cleaners.
They advertise it for cleaning hardwood, tiled, cement, marble, etc. type’s of floors. Well, I’m hear to tell you that I run it for quick runs over my carpet too. Don’t get me wrong, I have my husband lug out our heavy and expensive vac once or twice a month to do the heavy duty carpet cleaning…but in between those times I use my new cordless stick vac.
You can use it to get underneath furniture, under the edges of cabinets, under your tables, chairs, underneath beads, etc. thanks to the swivel head. We have a cat and he sheds a LOT….and I mean a LOT! It’s great at cleaning up pet hair too! Not only that, I take it around the outside of the litter box and it gets that up too…and does it all in one pass!
On average, the battery lasts 30-35 minutes before I need to recharge it again. When it comes to recharging, it does that pretty quickly too. Thanks to the materials used to build it and how it’s designed…it’s extremely light-weight compared to my other vacuum (name brand that cost me over $350). With all of my bone and joint issues, I can now do the vacuuming all on my own!
Don’t get me wrong, I do own a very expensive name brand vac that is similar to this one with a lot more power. But, it’s also a lot heavier and I can no longer use it without help. My new one from PrettyCare is great for those quick pick-ups that you need to do and those frequent in between heavy-duty cleanings. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase!
