Music has been a big part of my life. Growing up, my mother was always in the church choir and played music at home every day. Each of us kids played instruments at some point in our school life and I eventually switched to singing in the school and church choir myself. While bringing up my son, he too was exposed to music from the time he was conceived. Today, he is addicted to music and thoroughly enjoys it. With a family history such as ours, it is no wonder that reviewing a wireless speaker system for the home would be a great pleasure of ours.

I was sent the Aperion Audio Allaire Aris Wireless Stereo Speaker to check out and share with you today.

When the box first arrived, I was a bit nervous. It was heavy and I thought I was going to have to install a lot of wires and connect this and that. My heart kind of sank. However, I was thrilled to find none of that traditional connection stuff in the box. In fact, I was excited to find a Quick Start Guide with just a few simple steps on it!

The unit itself is beautiful. It is black so it blends right in with any decor. The design is sleek and modern and completely uncluttered. As I mentioned, it has got a good weight to it and it sits on a steel wire rack that allows you to point the unit up or down for the best sound for your space. You can also leave it off the rack and just place it on a tabletop.

This is a 100 watt unit so it has the capability to be used in any space or even outdoors. It features 6 speakers and 3 sound modes so you can listen to your music in your favorite tones: natural, bass boost and enhanced stereo. The back of the box is where you can see the woofers and while the music is playing you can actually see them moving to the beat of the music! Totally cool! But turning the unit around to the front gives you a seamless and pretty integration into a book case or shelf easily fill your whole room with sound.

I love that this wireless speaker is completely portable and the best part is that can be used with any phone, tablet or computer to wirelessly stream music with the Avantree Bluetooth 4.0 Music Adapter by Roxa. Quick and easy, it just plugs into a wall and then into the Aris unit. You sync your device with the Bluetooth, find the connection to the Music Adapter and enjoy!

This unit is so simple to use! There are a few ways that you can set it up. You can just connect the audio cord from a phone or tablet directly to the unit, turn the unit on and hit play. You can use the Bluetooth connection and enable your phone, table or computer to bluetooth capabilities and play the music. Finally, you can add an additional Wireless card connect your Aris to your home WiFi network to stream from your phone or PC direct to the unit. Very cool!

My son grabbed this, of course, and has it set up in his room; temporarily, I may add. He had it set up in a matter of minutes and was playing music. The sound from the Aris is amazing! The 100 watt system provides more power than his room can handle, in fact more than my house can handle! LOL The music is so crisp and clear and the sound is so amazing that you can feel the beat in your body and soul. The little hairs go up on your neck and you reverberate along with the sound of the music. It truly is awesome!

One of the things that we love about this wireless speaker is the different ways you can play the music. My son changed phones and most of his music is still on his old iPhone. With the Bluetooth, he can listen to the music on the old phone or simply plug in his current phone for the rest of his music library. I can plug in my tablet and listen to my favorite music while I am working or I can use the Bluetooth with my phone. Any way it is used, we are able to enjoy crystal clear sound any time.

I love the portability of the unit too! It can go outdoors while we are working in the yard, swimming or BBQing. I can even take it with me anywhere due to its compact size. I am sure that my son will be wanting to take this with him when he goes to college in the fall. That will have to be a point of negotiation, for certain! This unit is great!
