Remember the Angry Birds craze? I used to sit and play the original Angry Birds game for hours as a form of entertainment and a way to pass the time. When the original movie came out I went to the theater to see it within a few days of its release. It was funny! The Angry Birds 2 Movie DVD is being released for purchase on November 12th, 2019. The flightless angry birds and the scheming green piggies take their beef to the next level in THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2! When a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger, Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck’s sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with pigs Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant, Courtney (Awkwafina), and techpig, Garry (Sterling K. Brown), to forge an unsteady truce and form an unlikely super team to save their homes.

THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2 is currently perched atop Rotten Tomatoes’ ranking of the best-reviewed video game films of all time and has critics chirping its praises with Deadline’s Pete Hammond calling it “a wacky, fast-paced delight” and Variety’s Guy Lodge claiming “one sequence may just be funnier than any scene from a comedy in the last year.”

If you enjoyed the first Angry Birds movie I think you’re going to like Angry Birds 2 even more. In my honest opinion, the story line is more entertaining and it will have you laughing from start to finish. It’s really unlike other movies you’ve ever seen which is really refreshing these days with all of the Hollywood remakes. I sat down and watched it with my wife and my 10 1/2 year old granddaughter and they both enjoyed the movie too. It’s perfect for your next family movie night or date night-in if you enjoy animated comedies.
