MAILABLES Unique and Creative Greeting Cards

Today I would to introduce you to a unique and creative product called MAILABLES which is a craft product that you can send! You simple select the MAILABLES that you want and then color it with crayons, pencils or markers and then pop it into the envelope that it comes with. You then put on your postage (I used two stamps) and send it off to the person you want to receive it. You can purchase Birthday theme MAILABLES or Seasonal theme MAILABLES and they are super affordable! These cards are super cute and once your recipient receives it, they simply open it up, take the pieces out and assemble them for a unique 3-dimensional greeting card!

We received 3 MAILABLES in a Birthday theme to review for all of you. I had my nephews come down to work on the MAILABLES as it will be my mother’s birthday (their grandmother’s birthday) in 2 short weeks. I gave the boys markers and colored pencils and they got busy coloring the cards. Once they were done, they each signed their card and we addressed them to my mom. I then placed 2 stamps onto each envelope and mailed them off to her. The cards themselves are made out of heavy duty card stock so that when they are assembled they can stand up on their own and become a birthday decoration at my mother’s house. I think they are super cute and I know when my mother receives them she is going to LOVE them because they are cute and because her grandsons colored them in so they can become a treasured keepsake.

The MAILABLES cost $5.00 each and I feel that is totally affordable because generic greeting cards you pick up at your local card shop cost about that price and they are not personalized or unique…these are and these cards will become a treasured keepsake since the boys personally decorated them. We love them and we give the MAILABLES a huge 2 thumbs up! I look forward to seeing even more designs in the future!

I would like to thank MAILABLES  for sending me the product(s) to review for all of you! We love your products!

Max Colored Eco Pencils and Doodling Pad by Faber-Castell

As every child heads back to school this year it is important that we supply them with a few art supplies and that is where our next Back to School Shopping company can help you. Let me introduce you today to Faber-Castell who makes a variety of fabulous art supplies like eco-friendly colored pencils, paint by number kits, washable paints and paint brushes, oil pastels, gel sticks, GRIP graphite EcoPencils, washable markers, modeling dough, a variety of art and craft papers, gift sets and a nice assortment of arts & craft accessories. Really…Faber-Castell is your one stop shop for arts and craft supplies.

Our Review: The generous folks over at Faber-Castell sent us their 24 MAX Colored EcoPencils and their Doodling Pad to review for all of you. The Max Colored EcoPencils have 33% thicker lead than regular colored pencils and the leads are 20% more break resistant than the standard pencil. They are eco-friendly because they are made from reforested wood which preserves our natural forests. The Doodling Pad is perfect for doodling with colored pencils or markers and has 30 assorted color sheets. The doodling paper is made from 50% post-consumer recycled materials which makes it an eco-friendly product too! Each sheet in the doodling pad is double sided in color so you get a lot of use out of this one doodle pad.

I like to keep a variety of arts & crafts supplies here at my home as we always have a lot of kids in the family coming over to visit us and we have a little grand daughter who comes over every couple of days. Anyway, my 12 year old nephew was over to visit a few weeks ago and I told him I needed some new refrigerator art and asked him to draw me a picture. I asked him to draw our backyard so he sat for about 30 minutes and drew me an apple tree, grass and a blazing hot sun. The entire time he was drawing none of the pencil leads broke and none of the pencils needed sharpened. As I personally looked at the pencils I really like the long length of them and I liked the beautiful muted shades that they colored in. The set includes various yellows, oranges, blues, browns, greens, black and even a silver pencil! The Doodling Pad has pink, yellow, green, blue, off-white and orange colored papers in it. Overall, this is a really nice set and he really enjoyed creating me and his mother some new refrigerator art!
