I think all of the patterns and motifs are just darling! I currently have 2 nieces and a cousin who are expecting babies, and I can use this book along with the patterns to make some really cool baby gifts and nursery decor. There are motifs like ballerinas, toy soldiers, wildlife animals, princess, floral designs and all kinds of things! You’ll find designs that are suitable for both little boys and little girls. If you’re looking to personalize…don’t worry, the author included a few alphabets too.

Two years ago my husband started bringing wood pallets home from work and using them to craft new things around our home. In the past 2 years he’s made a garden bench, garden work table, 2 outdoor tables for our patio and several holiday decorations for our front yard. This book contains 20 easy-to-make wood pallet projects ranging from candle holders to picture frames! I think the farmhouse wall clock is fantastic and I could definitely “tweak” that project and turn the clock into a coastal/beach theme with a few of my seashells that I’ve collected over the years. As soon as our weather gets nicer (come on spring) I’m going to have my husband make me a storage bench for our front porch by using the pattern & project instructions in the book.
