The company sent us the Nordic Ware Silver Dollar Pancake Pan to review for all of you. My little grand daughter loves pancakes but making them small enough for her to enjoy has always been a challenge for me. While hubby and I like “plate” size pancakes, she will only eat them if they are smaller in size.
The Nordic Ware Silver Dollar Pancake Pan is made in the U.S.A. and will make 7 perfectly sized silver dollar pancakes! In addition, you can also use this pan to make the perfectly sized and round fried eggs for breakfast too! You can use their recipe (comes printed on the label) or you can use any pancake recipe that you would like.
One of the things I love about this pancake pan is that it is light-weight and doesn’t weigh 10 lbs. The interior has a nonstick coating and each “well” will make a perfectly round 3″ pancake! The cast aluminum construction ensures that your food will cook up evenly and quickly. As an added bonus, there is a hole in the handle so you can hang up your new pan when you are done. (Yes, we hang ours on a pot rack).
We have been using our new pancake pan for a little over 2 weeks now and love it! Nothing sticks to the interior which makes cleanup a breeze! Furthermore we are getting perfectly cooked pancakes and fried eggs every time we use it. Now that I have an “official” pancake pan, I am not sure how I ever lived without it! Great product!

My family and I love pizza. Several times a month I make home made pizza for us all. A few months ago, I shared some of our homemade pizza recipes with you here on the blog. Because we all like our pizza a different way, I was excited to be able to try out a new pizza pan and cutter from a cool company called ManPans.
ManPans is a line of durable, eco-friendly cookware, bakeware and pizza pans made right here in the U.S.A. These pans don’t need to be babied! ManPans are so tough you can use metal utensils without leaving a scratch and go from hot stove top to hot oven never worrying about melting or fumes. The finishing on the product contains no petroleum products, no PFE or PFOA. Now that is what I need in my kitchen!
ManPans has come out with a new Pizza Party Set and I was sent one of the 8″ pans and their cool pizza cutter to check out for you. This is a great idea especially for my family as I stated earlier, we all have different tastes in pizza. The full set features 4 individual size perforated pizza pans, a pizza cutter and a pizza peel for the perfect pizza party or picky family, like mine!
Since I had a new pizza pan to try out, I had to make pizza. It is always fun to do that and it is so quick too. I wonder why I don’t do it more often? The cute pizza pan is a heavy gauge metal with has a bunch of air holes in the bottom of the pan. It does have higher sides so you can make a deep dish pizza, if you choose. I like the individual serving pan because that is perfect for my hubby. He is the one that like his pizzas special in my house. 🙂 This size would also be great for small children to share if you want to make a quick pizza for lunch or something.
Basically, this pan needs nothing added to it. No sprays or oils. You simply heat and eat! I used a different crust when I used this pan that I did not care for much but the pan did a great job cooking the pizza. It was evenly cooked all around and was starting to brown nicely on the bottom when I pulled it out. The inside was cooked through. I tried to keep the dough in a single layer so it wasn’t so thick and it came out medium thickness, which my hubby did not mind as he like thick crust pizzas.
The ManPans pizza cutter worked like a dream. It is super sharp and made quick work of the cutting everything. I did not even have to roll it back and forth across the pizza twice, like I have to to with one of my cutters. That one is going in the trash now that I have this new baby! It is going to get a work out.
ManPans has a large amount of other cool cookware, bakeware and other cooking tools on their site. I really love their flat pizza pan. That looks like one I am going to have to pick up.
