Helping out with the laundry is one cleaning task that my husband will do. With that said, he will NOT stand there and sort the colors or any of that jazz. He simply picks up a wad of clothes, tosses them into the washer with some laundry detergent and then simply walks away.

New to the market is a brand new laundry product from the great folks over at Purex called the Purex No Sort for Colors Detergent. This new detergent features a breakthrough anti-color-transfer technology which traps loose dyes in the wash and reduces color bleeding accidents in your mixed color loads, leaving your clothes bright and clean.

When you use regular detergent, those dyes can bleed onto other fabrics in your wash. That’s right, we have all had white socks or undies turn pink at one time or another!  The new Purex No Sort for Colors will trap those dyes to reduce color bleeding accidents. While they don’t claim to fully prevent them, this product can certainly reduce them! While packed with innovative technology, it is is no miracle worker, so you should still stand there and sort you clothes when doing the laundry.

I was sent a large bottle of the new Purex No Sort for Colors to try out for all of you. As you already know, I am a HUGE fan of the Purex laundry products and primarily use that brand when I do my family’s laundry. So, I decided to let hubby do the laundry a few days ago since I am still sick and feeling under the weather.

I knew from past experience he would just toss in a big pile into the washing mashing, add the laundry soap and walk away. Yup, he is a creature of habit. This particular wash load included denim, white under clothing, bright tees and even a few of my white bath towels. I was really nervous about this!

After the laundry was done…he folded up everything and placed it onto the bed. I scanned through everything he washed and was pleasantly surprised to see nice white towels, white socks and his bright blue shirt didn’t bleed onto any other fabrics. Yay! What a relief! While I don’t recommend that you deliberately wash your clothing like this, I went ahead and left him do it for the purpose of our test review.

In addition, all of the clothing looked clean, smelled fresh and we didn’t have any static cling. All extra bonuses in my book! Would I buy this laundry detergent regularly? Probably not since I do most of the laundry myself and I am a stickler for sorting colors. With that said, it is nice to keep a bottle on hand for when hubby is home and doing the laundry for me!
