How many of you are liquid soap lovers? I know here in our home, we use liquid soaps the majority of the time. We use them to wash our hands, to do dishes, to bathe our bodies, to wash our hair, wash clothing and to clean items in & around our home.
In the past if you wanted to use a liquid soap for all of the things I just mentioned above, you had to buy numerous bottles of different types of soap to get all of those jobs done. Well, not anymore.
Let me introduce you to a product called Lemon Castile Soap that’s made from olive oil, coconut oil, kukui nut oil and cocoa butter. The product is made by the company called Carolina Castile Soap and it’s absolutely FANTASTIC!
The Lemon Castile Liquid Soap can be used as a shampoo, a hand soap, as a body wash, dish soap, shaving soap, for house cleaning and so much more! When I say “All Purpose”, I really mean it!
We do a LOT of traveling and we own a travel trailer. When we travel, I used to pack a gazillion products like this, but not any more. I can use this when we travel in the RV for our personal care and to wash the dishes! I can use it when I wipe down the tables, bench, counter tops, wipe out the microwave, etc. in our travel trailer and get everything clean! While at home…I can use it for personal care & cleaning too!
If you read the label on the bottle it will tell you how you can use the liquid soap for all of those different things and how much you’ll need when performing each different task. For example: If you want to wash a load of clothing, you’ll need a 1/4 cup. If you want to use it as a hand soap, dilute it with water 2 to 1. A little bit goes a long way!
Besides being a multi-purpose liquid soap, I absolutely LOVE the lemon fragrance which smells nice & clean. Next, when I use it to wash my hands or as a body wash, it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and clean. I used it to wash some dishes too and I really loved how easily it cleaned the debris and greasy grime off all of our dirty dishes & utensils. It’s fantastic!!!

A few months ago we started the remodeling process of our third bathroom and I’m happy to report, it should be completed within the next 4 weeks. For this particular bathroom, we totally gutted it…walls, floors, ceiling and everything in between! The bathroom hasn’t been remodeled since the early 1980’s and the original home owners had done it in pink and black. Sigh. So glad to see it go!
One of my favorite companies called ToiletTree sent me a complimentary Toilet Brush with Stainless Steel Holder to review for all of you and let me tell you, it’s just perfect! All of our new faucets, towel holders and lighting fixtures are done in stainless steel and it looks fantastic in that bathroom!
One of the things I love about these toilet bowl cleaning brush is the stainless steel holder. It’s in a round shape and lined with a black plastic cup that easily removes for cleaning! I love that I can pop that cup out, clean & disinfect it and place it back into the holder. How cool is that? Totally cool!!!
The stainless steel holder has a flat bottom, so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over. Due to it’s shape, it fits nicely in the corner by our toilet and is barely visible to guests. It’s sleek, modern and ultra-chic looking in its appearance.
The brush itself features a stainless steel handle and a black bristle brush. One of the things I love about the brush is that it’s black (hides dirt & debris) and that the bristles are close together and pretty stiff.
