A few years ago I jumped on the adult coloring bandwagon after receiving my first coloring book. Within days I was hooked! Coloring is a great way to relax after a long day and it gives adults a creative outlet. Your finished works of art can be framed & hung on a wall, laminated and turned into placemats, trimmed & laminated into bookmarks, used as embellishments in your scrapbooking layouts, as embellishments on handcrafted greeting cards & they’re fabulous when laminated & turned into refrigerator magnets.
One of my favorite line of coloring books are from Creative Haven. I would guess that I’ve owned at least 2 dozen of their books over the past few years. Here’s why: The images/designs in their books are unique, detailed and beautiful once completed. The pages are perforated along one side so you can easily pull them out. Images are printed on high-quality paper so feel free to use colored pencils, markers, gel ink pens, etc. to color in the designs. Image is only printed on one side of the page, so don’t worry about bleeding!
Creative Haven Christmas Cats Coloring Book is my new favorite in my collection. As you know, I’m a cat lover and have rescued two kittens over the past year. I love cats! The designs in this book are beautiful and it’s fun to have them in a Christmas theme. Fun!

Today is a day that we all need to remember the REAL REASON for the season. We started off our day by attending Sunrise Mass and then a small family breakfast. We will be hosting a family dinner later today with all of the trimmings. Following our family meal Sam will read a book to the grandchildren and then we’ll exchange gifts.
