Hide-n-Go Fish Game by Learning Resources

My Review: The great folks over at Learning Resources sent us their new Hide-n-Go Fish Game to review for all of you. This game is made for kids ages 2+ and comes with everything you need packaged within a cute & darling storage box. This game is a darling way to teach young preschoolers to learn their colors and sizes, and it does it in a fun & entertaining way.

Game Includes:

* Durable, Plastic No-Peek Fishbowl
* 9 Durable Plastic Fish (in 3 colors and 3 sizes)
* Instructional Sheet

Our Princess Gia is going to be 4 years old next month and she loves to play games with us. Matter of fact, it’s one of her favorite things to do when she is over here visiting with us.

One of the reasons I selected this particular item to review is that her daddy has 3 large fish aquariums in their home and she loves the fish but can never touch them. In addition, she has been wanting her own aquarium so I though this fish game would be a fun item to give to her.

Hide-n-Go Fish Game by Learning Resources

We sat down last Monday evening and played this Hide-n-Go Fish Game with her and had a blast! Matter of fact, we played it 4 times that evening. What is really fun is that you can make up your own games and style-of-play any way that you want. We found ourselves making up new ones to play with her. While playing the game, we talked with her about having pet fish, fish in the wild and other educating facts about fish and their habitats. Great educational experience for preschoolers for sure!

Overall, we are very pleased with the Hide-n-Go Fish Game and it has become a favorite at Princess Gia’s Preschool too! (she took it into school for show & tell the very next day!

You can purchase the Learning Resources Hide-N-Go Fish directly from Amazon for a great price!

Discovery Kids Create Your Own Lemonade Stand

Two Classy Chics 2012 Holiday Gift Guide

When my daughter was a little girl, she was always setting up a lemonade stand, juice stand and/or cookie stand here in our little neighborhood. She took great pride in setting up her “little” business every spring and summer season.

Now that I have a little grand daughter, we are looking forward to starting all of those fun memories over again and this time around, we will be using the Discovery Kids – Create Your Own Lemonade Stand kit!

Lemonade Stand for Kids

The Lemonade Stand assembles in less than 10 minutes and is made from sturdy cardboard. It is light enough that the kids can set it up themselves and move it around when needed. This lemonade stand easily transforms into a cookie stand too!

It comes nicely packaged in a large box along with an instructional sheet. Older kids can put it together, but for the younger kids, it’s best done by an adult. Along with it comes a sheet of 40 colorful stickers for designing your lemonade or cookie stand. This stand is for children ages 3 years and older.

Create Your Own Lemonade Stand

Once the stand has been assembled (takes less than 10 minutes by an adult), it will stand over 6 feet tall. It’s totally adorable and it’s the perfect size for most children to use. We found it to be very sturdy even though it’s made from cardboard.

Even if your kids don’t do outdoor lemonade stands, it can be used indoors! Our Princess Gia has hers set up in her play room where she has all of our kitchen sets and toys. She likes to use hers as a “Grocery” checkout lane or as her indoor “bakery” store counter. It’s really versatile so your children can use it many different ways.

The cardboard stand, instruction sheet and stickers all come with it. Once it has been assembled, all you need to supply is the lemonade and cookies! Too cool!
