Designer Backpacks and Accessories for Kids

Designer Backpacks and Accessories for Kids

Designer Backpacks and Accessories for KidsThe Princess will be starting full day Kindergarten in late August and we are already shopping for the school items that she will need. Since this will be her first “official” year at school, she needs a lot so we are starting our school shopping now.

Recently I was introduced to the company called Bixbee where you can find designer backpacks, lunchboxes and accessories for kids. As soon as I viewed their product line, I was in-love and knew I had to have a few pieces for Gia.

The company sent us the Bixbee “Sparkalicious” Kids Glitter “Butterflyer” Backpack in pink to review for all of you. This backpack is just way too cute! When my daughter was little, they didn’t have cute stuff like this out in the marketplace at all!

All 3 of the items we received from Bixbee are just way too cute for words! They are the “must-have” accessories for little girls this year who are starting preschool or school. Check out these items and others on the company’s web site.

Fun New Jigglit Answer Bands for Kids

I always look forward to reviewing products that my nine year old can get involved in reviewing as well and lucky for me, the Jigglit is one of those products. What is a Jigglit, you ask? Well, let me tell you. A Jigglit is a product that resembles a watch and wraps around your wrist, but is much more interactive than your typical wrist watch. Think of it as a modern-day Magic 8 ball. It’s more compact, easier to take along anywhere and has a voice that speaks to you when you ask questions. What don’t these kids think of?! And yes, this was a product invented by a kid—a 16 year old who had an idea and made it happen. I love these kinds of stories and knew my son would be excited to review it.

As soon as the Jigglit arrived, my son tore open the packages and slapped the blue one on his wrist and was ready to go! It took him about 3 minutes to get the time set and then he was good to go. He started asking all sorts of questions. The voice (and motion) activated wrist band has a fairly large repertoire of responses which included “seriously” and “get real”, to “you bet” and “lucky you”, to “not a chance.” We definitely cracked up a few times and would then start asking sillier and sillier questions. He’s nine and a boy, so you have to figure that would happen! If you aren’t sure how to get started, there’s a tutorial available to help you figure out how it works as well.

What is really unique about this product is that it provides a way for kids to make extra money and give back to the less fortunate. The way it works is that kids can be a Jigglit Ambassador, which allows them to make $2.00 on each Jigglit that is sold using their Ambassador number. In addition, the Ambassadors can choose from a number of different charity organizations and .25 of the commission goes directly to his or her charity of choice. It’s simple and provides a great opportunity for kids to give back. The company has even created a free Young Entrepreneur’s business guide, which is downloadable to anyone. This guide will help younger people better understand business basics and how to maximize opportunities in selling Jigglits. They even offer the sellers their own business cards from the site to distribute.
