When you become a parent, one of the most important things that you need to purchase is a new car seat. While there are many different options out there in the retail marketplace, it is imperative that you do your own research and look at safety records. After a car seat passes the safety standards, you then need to look at quality, comfort and convenience of use.

As you all know, I am expecting my second child late this summer. Now I will have 2 children in car seats. For this review, I received the Pacifica Convertible+Booster Car Seat to check out for all of you.

With its extended rear-facing capabilities, it can comfortably seat rear-facing children from 5 to 50 lbs and forward facing children from 20-90 lbs in 5-point harness mode. Additionally it converts to a booster for children between 50 – 120 lbs or up to 57″ in height.
Its unique super-strong SuperLATCH™ system makes installation easy and the Pacifica is NCAP crash tested, the industry benchmark for verifying child seat performance in severe accident conditions.
My Thoughts: The first thing that I want to see about this car seat is that I love that it will work with a 5 lb. newborn and up to a 50 lb. child. The fact that it grows with your child is genius! You buy one seat and your done!
Next, I love all of the safety features and comfort features that are built within this particular design. It’s built with a steel frame and has reinforced aluminum sides that are extra deep sidewalls lined with energy-absorbing foam which offers superior head and body protection.
Rear Facing: Child from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.
Front Facing: Child from 20 lbs. to 90 lbs.
Booster Seat (converts): Child from 50 lbs. up to 120 lbs.
I really appreciate the slim profile of this design since my car doesn’t have a large backseat. When it came to installation, my husband and I had it properly installed into the car in less than 5 minutes. When not in use, it folds flat (love that space-saving feature) and it’s FAA certified should you be doing any traveling.
You can adjust the harness & buckle into many different positions so that you get a customized & comfortable fit. The heavy-duty cover is machine wash (gentle cycle) or hand wash it for best care, hang to air dry. A little bonus feature is the removable cup holder which can be easily cleaned!
This car seat is absolutely fantastic! For pictures, I had my 5 year old “model” in the car seat for me. Once the baby arrives, I will be using this car seat in my car for he or she.

I am a very busy grandmother who spends a lot of time with her grandchild. Every few days Gia is over at our house and at least once a month she is over for a sleepover. Spending all of this time with her…is special to us.

I introduced you to these fabulous bags a few weeks ago and recently I got a second one (in lime green with peace symbols print) to review for all of you. With this one…I have been using it to tote Gia’s items back and forth to her other grandma’s house! We use the pink one for when she is coming to my house and the green one when she goes to Nana’s house. We keep them pre-loaded with her blanket, pillow, stuffed animal and a book. Then we just toss in her clothing & a few other things when she is getting ready to go. It saves so much time and everything is nicely packed into one over-size tote bag! Genius I tell ya!!!
These bags are extremely well-made and you can really stuff them to the gills. I also like that they are light-weight and not too cumbersome to haul around with us. On top of that…super cute & stylish too!
