How Pampers and Walmart Support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

How Pampers and Walmart Support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Whether your children suffer from common childhood afflictions like asthma and broken bones, or fight bigger challenges like birth defects or cancer, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide comfort, treatment and hope to millions of sick kids.

I have a personal connection and love for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). For over 10 years, I worked for a company that was a main supporter of this charity and I did many many fundraisers within my store and personally donated hundreds of hours to fundraising efforts and the telethons over the years. I loved every minute of it and appreciate the work that this charity has done for children in need.

To show support for the organization and the one in 10 kids in North America who are treated by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year, Walmart and Pampers have teamed up to donate $200,000 in the month of June.

Additionally, by purchasing products like Pampers Swaddlers at your local Walmart during the month of June 2015, portions of the proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Meet Molly From California
Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital
Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy
Age 9 (as of 11/30/14)

“I can’t” is not a phrase found in Molly’s book. Though she’s had lifelong challenges from cerebral palsy, this motivated, happy and hardworking young lady “stands out by blending right in,” according to those who know her best.

Treated off and on throughout her life at her CMN Hospital — including a life-saving emergency room visit in 2010 — Molly’s impairments are strictly physical. She maintains better control of her feet than hands, and uses a specialized laptop to complete homework and communicate vocally. Both allow Molly to express herself fully: she’s at the top of her class, blazing through books like they’re going out of style.

Proving every day that nothing holds her back, Molly loves riding her bike, camping, inner-tubing and playing kickball during recess. Among her many goals, Molly works to build arm strength and hand coordination through physical therapy.

Bath and Body Products for Children from Dial

Bath and Body Products for Children from Dial

dial baby and kids productsI’ve been using the Dial brand of bath and body products for several years now. I love their body wash, hand soaps, soap bars and just about all of the products that the company makes. Today I get to talk to all of you about two brand new Dial products that are made for the wee ones and the itty bitty ones in our lives!

The Dial Baby body + hair wash is for babies & toddlers (ages 0-2 years). This formula was developed with pediatric dermatologists for specific use with babies and small children. It is a gentle formula that is tear-free, hypoallergenic, paraben-free, fragrance-free and is pH balanced.

My daughter is expecting baby #2 in late August. We are saving the Dial Baby body + hair wash for her to use after she brings the baby home. One of the things I love about it already is the fact that it is fragrance-free and contains no dyes in it. The formula is completely clear.

The Dial Kids Foaming Hand Wash is gentle on your little one’s hands. This formula was developed with pediatric dermatologists for specific use with children. The one that I received for the review is in the fun Watery Melon scent. This foaming hand wash is hypoallergenic, contains no artificial dyes and is pH balanced.

Personally, I love foaming hand washes and was super excited to get this for the review. We have our little 5 year old grand daughter here at our home all of the time. I insist that she frequently wash her hands while she is here (big stickler on not passing germs from person-to-person) and let me tell you, this foaming hand wash was a big hit with her! She loves how it pumps out of the bottle and foams up in her hands. On top of that…it smells like ripe & juicy watermelons…one of her favorite foods! Okay, I admit…I’ve washed my hands with it a few times and I agree with the Princess, it’s fabulous!!!

Thank you Dial for branching into the world of baby and kid’s products!
