Playing Dress-Up with Girl’s Disney Costumes

Playing Dress-Up with Girl’s Disney Costumes

As you all know, I have a little grand daughter who I just love to pieces! I am very fortunate that I only live 5 minutes away from and get to see her several times every week. She will be turning 6 years old in

School Uniforms for Children from French Toast

School Uniforms for Children from French ToastA few weeks ago our little Princess started Kindergarten at a school that has a dress code. While official school uniforms are not mandatory, they are highly recommended and all kids must dress modestly with no written wording on their clothing that others can see.

Here in our city, we only have one or two stores that sell school uniforms and their selection of items is very meek, at best. Plus, their prices are simply outrageous and the quality not very good.

Recently we were introduced to French Toast who sells school uniforms for children. You can find tops, bottoms, jackets, dresses and all kinds of things your children will need while attending school and sticking within a dress code.

The company sent us four items to review for all of you and let me tell you, we were immediately impressed with the style and quality of each item we received.

School Uniforms for Children from French Toast

The Short Sleeve Waist Tuck White Polo Shirt is absolutely perfect for Gia. She can wear it with any of her bottoms or underneath a short sleeve jumper dress. It is made out of a cotton & poly blend that is super soft and features cap sleeves, a 5 button placket and an empire waist. One of the things I love about it is the longer torso length…so when she is bending over, her backside is not showing at all.

The Bow Belted Jumper comes in Khaki or Navy Blue. It features a v-neckline, 2 front “mock” pockets with rhinestone buttons and a removable polka dot belt that fastens via a hook & loop closure. It is made out of a cotton & poly “no wrinkle” blend material and washes/dries like a dream! The princess wears her white polo top above underneath this jumper and then in the winter she will wear a white or navy blue turtleneck under it. It is adorable!!!

The mornings and evenings are pretty chilly here in PA. so we selected the next two items just for that!

The Navy Blue Cardigan Sweater (shown in top photo) is made out of 100% super soft acrylic knit and features a button front placket, long sleeves, 2 front waist pockets and a self-tie belt. The sweater cardigan has a really nice weight and feel to it and I love that it is tunic length.

Finally, I selected the Detachable Hood Jacket for the review as this is something she can wear this Fall and in the Spring for when it is cooler outside. It has a removable hood, 2 front pockets, a zip up front and is lined in a polka dot fabric. I love that it “cinches” in at the waistline and isn’t over-sized or boxy. It is super cute!!!

Gianna has been loving her 4 new pieces of clothing from French Toast and I am loving how they look on her. When ordering, I would stay true-to-size unless you want them to fit a little big. All 4 of the items we selected mix-n-match together and mix-n-match with other pieces that are offered by French Toast.

You can visit the French Toast web site to learn more and to see the entire collection for girls and boys.

Clothing and Accessories for Dog Lovers from Phebe-n-Me

How many of you are dog lovers or know someone that is? I know here in our home, we are big dog lovers and have a 6 year old grand dog named Nellari. If I didn’t have dog allergies, we would have a dog here

Organic Baby Clothes from Cutie Bees

When my daughter was a baby they didn’t have organic baby clothes or natural baby products readily available out in the retail market. Matter of fact, I didn’t know these types of products even existed until the birth of my grand daughter 5 years ago.

Children’s Clothing & Accessories from Live Sweet

Today I have a real treat for all of you who love unique and handcrafted products. The items I am reviewing today are all from artisan Lindsey Bonnice and her company called Live Sweet.

When you shop at Live Sweet you will find a whimsical woodland critter gift line for the young and young at heart. The company sells handmade plush toys, tee shirts and tote bags that make the perfect, affordable gifts!

Lindsey at Live Sweet sent us several products for the review and we instantly fell in-love with them all! With the Princess getting ready to start Kindergarten in a few days, she will be getting a lot of use out of all of them!

Little Girls Clothing and Accessories by Live Sweet

First up is the totally adorable Live Sweet Flora Fawn 100% cotton tee! It features a fawn print which is an original Live Sweet print! That’s right, you will not find this design elsewhere which is fabulous for all of us who are tired of seeing the same thing, being worn by every kid!

It is easy care (machine wash, machine dry) and let me tell you, it washes/dries like a dream! The princess has already worn this adorable tee several times and it still looks perfect! When ordering, I recommend ordering true-to-size.

We also received an adorable set of Sweet Decorative Elastic Hair Ties to review for you too! It is hard to see in that top photo but the Princess has one in her hair. She was having a “bad hair day” and wasn’t being too cooperative with me for modeling photos. These elastic hair ties are perfect for holding your hair back and I love that they never get tangled in the Princess’ hair. Easy to get on and easy to get off. Just the way we both like it! Plus, they match other things in the Live Sweet line!

Finally, we got a beautiful Beatrice the Bunny Cotton Tote bag with Pom Pom from the Retro Woodland Critter line to check out too. If you ask Princess, she calls it her new purse!

This little tote bag measures 15″ by 16″ in size and features 2 carrying handles. The Beatrice Bunny design is exclusive to Live Sweet and is printed on the front. I love the colors used in that screen printing, nothing wild or crazy. It is a cotton tote with a pom pom tied onto the handle. Isn’t it darling? We think so!

Gia has been using her new tote (purse) to take her items back & forth to preschool. She is going to use it for the “big girl” school too once that starts in another week. Super cute!!!

Head on over to Live Sweet to check out their Etsy Shop and you can also check out their website and blog while you are here.
