Today I would like to introduce you to a wonderful company called A & J gifts, engraving and embroidery. This is a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1978 and is based out of the great state of Minnesota. The company has an online web store and an offline retail store to serve all of it’s local and non-local customers.
When you shop the A & J store you will find baby items like diaper bags, blankets, hooded towels, baby hats and picture frames. You will also find messenger bags and diaper bags for both men and women. Some additional products you will find in their store include fragrance bath salts, soy candles, engraved lid cake pans, Precious Moments figurines, picture frames and a variety of other gifts.
My Review: The great folks at A & J sent me 3 of their small jar soy candles to check out for my product review. First up…The Spring Rain scented soy candle which has a light floral scent. The scent does remind me of a rain filled spring day or a fresh laundry scent, this is a nice light floral scent. Second up is the Rose Petals scented soy candle which smells 100% like a real fresh rose! I have smelled a lot of “rose scented” candles in my lifetime and NONE of them smelled as genuine as this one, you would swear that you are smelling a huge bouquet of freshly cut red roses. Divine! The third candle I received is the English Ivy scented soy candle and this one…is my favorite out of the three! I love visiting gardens during the spring and summer and this one has a light scent and definitely smells like an English Ivy garden. I chose this one as my favorite as it’s a light but yet a sweet floral scent to it and I am enjoying burning it as I type this. All 3 of these candles smell delicious and they burn super cleanly because they are made from soy wax. I love that they don’t smoke up or leave stinky soot behind either.
Overall Impression: These A & J soy candles rock! They make and sell a large variety of scents so head on over to their web site store and check them all out! Furthermore, these small jar soy candles are super affordable at ONLY $6.00 each! wow!!! I give this company and these soy candles a big two thumbs up!

My Review: Janice was very generous to send me the Scentsy Snowflake full-size warmer in the pretty light blue color and a pack of their scented melts in the delicious blueberry cheesecake scent. When I got the box was was immediately impressed with my new Scentsy warmer. You can tell that it’s quality made & heavy duty ceramic…not cheap discount store junk. I just love the snow flake pattern because it can be left out all winter long and doesn’t scream the ‘holiday’ season. The Scentsy full-size warmer comes in 2 pieces…the base and the ceramic bowl. Once you get your warmer you simply screw in the light bulb (included) and plug it into an outlet. Break off a few chunks of your Scentsy bar and place it into the ceramic bowl and the light bulb will melt the wax and a beautiful scent will fill the air. When I use the full-size warmer, I like to add 3-4 of the scent blocks to the bowl. When you want to change the scented wax…it is super easy to remove it from the ceramic bowl and place in new Scentsy blocks. I love the ‘glow’ that peers out the holes that are pierced into the side of the base. It’s not too bright…just a nice subtle glow. The blueberry cheesecake scent melts are absolutely HEAVEN! The fragrance is a true scent meaning that it smells just like a genuine blueberry cheesecake!
Overall Impression: I am absolutely in love with my new snowflake Scentsy Warmer! I have been leaving it plugged in 24/7 and both my husband and I love it! The blueberry cheesecake melts are the perfect scent for me since I am very partial to the food and bakery scents. One final word…the scent in the Scentsy melts last a very long time! All of the Scentsy products are high quality and very affordable! I invite you to shop Jan’s Scentsy online store!
