Back in September of 2015 I was blessed with my second grandchild, a little boy who we call Prince Jax. He’s now 5 months old and growing like a weed! Oh my gosh, how do babies grow so fast?
I spend a lot of time with both of my grandchildren and I needed a baby carrier to carry around Prince Jax. I needed one that would grow with him and one that was easy-to-use. You see, I’m a 48 year old grandmother and have never used a baby carrier…I knew that this one that I’m featuring today would be perfect for me!
The Chicco Close to you 3-Way Baby Carrier is made for babies from 7 1/2 lbs. up to 40 lbs. in weight. When your child is really little (infant) you can use the carrier facing in and worn on the front of your body. When the child gets a little older, you can use the carrier on the front of your body with the child facing out. The third way that you can use this carrier is by using it like a backpack to carry around older babies.
The carrier has some very impressive features too! Check this out:
* The baby carrier has a soft, padded front and back panel and harness.
* The parent vest portion of the carrier has adjustable and padded shoulder straps, waist belt and lumbar support. It can be fitted and adjusted for proper wearing position before attaching the carrier.
* The baby carrier opens out fully from the vest for easy in and out access.
* The padded waist belt helps to comfortably and evenly distribute weight.
* The lumbar support is structured with adjustable back support in 3 positions, plus it allows air to flow through for comfort.

* Easy-to-Use 2-piece vest and carrier design that simplifies parent fit and adjustment.
One of the things that I absolutely LOVE about the Chicco Close to You 3-Way Baby Carrier is that it’s easy-to-use and super comfortable for any adult to wear. We’ve used the baby carrier with me wearing it, my 56 year old husband and of course Prince Jax’s mom and dad are both in their 30’s and are using it too! We adjust it to our particular needs which makes it comfortable to wear for each of us!
Next, Prince is almost 5 months old. He loves facing forward so that he can see everything that is going on. He doesn’t miss anything! You can tell that he loves having his arms and legs free so that he can move them around. He feels very secure in it and you can tell he’s comfortable in it because he often falls asleep when we are out-and-about doing things.
Finally, it’s quality constructed! There is nothing flimsy or cheesy about this baby carrier at all. You can tell that the company put a lot of thought into the design-work and construction of it. I know when we are done using it…we’ll pass it down to my niece who is expecting her second child in about 7 1/2 months. It’s a quality piece that can be used by multiple children!

What I personally love about these little bow ties is that they can be worn with a casual shirt or you can wear them when your baby boy gets all dressed up. I also love that they are really securely made. You don’t have to worry about anything falling a part or becoming unraveled.
