Today I would like to introduce you to a very unique and fun company that makes the cutest socks that are made for you to wear with your flip flops and that company is called Sol Socks. If you are a flip flop lover like myself…you will appreciate this unique product.
Sol Socks sells American-Made super soft flip flop socks that are made out of fleece. You can purchase them in a light-weight fabrication or a medium-weight fabrication depending on your individual preference. They are available in a variety of solid colors or in pretty prints. They come in a variety of sizes for both men and women. What is really cool is that they have 2 lengths available…a mid-ankle length and a mid-calf length. The fleece is super soft and it dries up to 90% faster than traditional socks.
My Review: The generous folks over at Sol Socks sent me 2 pairs of their fleece flip flop socks to try out for my product review. I decided to not be greedy and I shared one of the pairs with my 25 year old daughter who is a flip flop addict! I received a pair of the pink socks that are light-weight in a women’s size small. I also received a pair of the gray socks that are medium-weight in a women’s size medium. The toe area of the socks is split into two so that you can comfortably wear them with your flip flops or you can wear them with regular footwear too! They are super soft…like a babies’ fleece blanket and feel nice on the foot. They don’t have any bumpy big seams so they are comfy to wear. I love how the heel area is sewn together…it’s like a cup that your heel slips comfortably into. Now with the gray fleece pair…they are definitely a heavier weight…I would say that this pair is great for very cold climates.
Overall Impression: These socks are extremely well made. The seams are nice and thin so you don’t even feel them while wearing the socks. The fleece is really soft and cuddly if you know what I mean. I thought they would be uncomfortable to wear but I was pleasantly surprised that they are super comfy! They wash and dry like a dream…matter of fact, they machine dried in less than 15 minutes! The Review
I was able to select a pair of readers for the review and let me tell you, it took me forever! Peepers has hundreds of styles to choose from! I had to do a process of elimination to decide on the very cute and stylish pair I got called “Your Agent Called”. I got the orange pair LOL They are topless frames with tortoise arms. There is orange detailing on the inside. Fun twist on a classic style. The frame is spring-hinged for added comfort and they even come with a coordinating case for protection. They are perfect.
There are soooo many different types of readers that are carried and made for you at Peepers. They have bifocals; the cool, cosmetic ones where you can flip down a lens so you can see to apply your makeup as well as a multitude of classic and fun frames. I love the fact that on the page of each glasses there is a face guide to help you select the right type of frames for your face shape. That is wonderful! After so many years of wearing glasses, I tend to stay in the same shapes, but some day I might get crazy and go round or something. Now I know what would work and what wouldn’t. Love it!
