EarPops Bandless Ear Muffs

ear pops ear mitts

EarPops Bandless Ear Mitts are warm, fun, and definitely keep ears warm.

One would think of mild winters when thinking of South Carolina, but sometimes Mother Nature has other ideas.  While close to and below freezing temps may be the winter norm, that’s not typical for where I live.  And this time of year is the worst.  It may be 67 degrees and clear this afternoon, but it was around 30 degrees when I woke up this morning.  I keep prepared for the temperature drops by keeping gloves in my purse and another pair in my coat pocket, but ear protection is largely ignored.  Since I gave up my hat addiction, my ears are generally unprotected if I forget my scarf.  Ear muffs either break in the bottom of my purse or are lost, forgotten, or snatched by family members.  A few early morning dog walks put ear muffs on my mind again, and the folks at EarPops offered me a pair just in time.

EarPops Bandless Ear MuffsNu Life of Illinois calls EarPops the original bandless ear muffs.   The come in three sizes (small, medium, and large) and 34 colors and styles.  I measured my ears then selected a pair of red EarPops in medium.  They arrived just in time for the latest cold snap.  At first I wasn’t sure how well they’d work or stay in place, but my concerns were blown away when my ears stayed toasty in 30 degree weather.   The directions for putting them on are not difficult and they slipped on easily.  My ears were covered and I could still hear everything around me.  And did I mention that they work well?  My ears were as warm as my hands, and that is a very good thing.

At $9.95 a pair, EarPops are a good buy.  They fit easily into a pocket or the wasteland that is my purse, fit perfectly under hats or helmets, and appealing because teen girl claimed them as hers. They’re cute, add a pop of color to my winter outerwear, and, most importantly, work well.

Solve Your Tired & Aching Feet Problems with Foot Petals

Solve Your Tired & Aching Feet Problems with Foot Petals

As a woman, I love shoes and I love almost every kind of shoe out there! I love high-heels, sandals, flats, clogs, sneakers, flip-flops, you name it…I love it! With that said, my feet don’t always love my choices in footwear!

Over the years I have suffered with calluses, bunions, blisters and just aching feet and most of the time those issues happened when I would sport around high heels for long periods of time. Just recently I attended a Holiday party and sported around 6″ heels for 5 hours and by the end of the night, my feet were in terrible pain!

I was discussing this issue with a friend of mine last week and she was telling me about these cool women shoe insoles that she has used in the past that has totally eliminated all of those unwanted nasty problems for her. My friend uses insoles in every pair of shoes that she owns…and raves and raves about them!

Hubby and I will be leaving for our cruise in early May and I am determined to have a pain-free cruise for the 14 days we are on vacation. I am going to pack only 4 pairs of shoes and I think I will get insoles for all 4 pairs.

I found the Foot Petals site online and was reading up on them and they look like the perfect choice for me. I love how they are virtually (if not…invisible) under nearly every pair of shoes that you own…including heels! Isn’t that cool?

I love that they come in a wide variety of fun colors and a variety of styles to suit every style of shoe that I will be taking on my vacation trip. On top of that….super affordable too!
