You’re Going to Fall for Pumpkin Season with Skin Actives’ Scientific Pumpkin Skincare Products

You’re Going to Fall for Pumpkin Season with Skin Actives’ Scientific Pumpkin Skincare Products

It’s officially “pumpkin spice” season—it’s taking over our grocery store shelves and is a fall favorite for many of us. You can find this delectable flavor in everything from your morning coffee and cereal, to lip balms and even in a can of SPAM! Fall is definitely upon us and I recently learned of another pumpkin spice product that is definitely getting me even more in the mood for fall. I recently received two Skin Actives products that I’m excited to tell you about today—Skin Actives’ Pumpkin Spice Exfoliating Mask and Pumpkin Enzyme Exfoliant Peel.

Skin Actives’ Scientific Pumpkin Enzyme Exfoliant and Pumpkin Spice Mask

After a hot summer, we can all use a little refresh to our skin and these Skin Actives products are perfect for a fall fix. The Pumpkin Enzyme Exfoliant will remove dead skin cells while hydrating even the most sensitive skin. It’s made with pure fermented pumpkin fruit, which gives your skin the ultimate rejuvenation and renewal. You simply apply a thin layer of the product to clean, dry skin and leave it on for three to ten minutes and wash it off with a gentle cleanser. It’s such a mild and soothing product and is perfect for all skin types.

You will also “fall” for the Skin Actives’ special seasonal Pumpkin Spice Mask. Subtly infused with the scent of pumpkin (love!), this mask allows you to relax and rejuvenate while the power of enzymes and crystals team up to doubly exfoliate dry, uneven skin. The mask also contains tumeric and oat, which gently soothe and hydrate your thirsty skin. This is a go-to product for the fall and will make you look and feel radiant for all of those activities you have on your calendar—football games, corn mazes, apple picking and maybe even a good old fashioned hayride. Either way, you’ll be looking Instagram ready for all of those autumn posts you’ll be making. For the best results, use the mask about once a week after cleansing and leave it on for five to ten minutes. Rinse with warm water while scrubbing off the product gently in a circular motion.

Both products can be purchased on the company’s website or from Amazon.com. You can connect with the company on Facebook, Twitter and over on Instagram too! Visit the Skin Actives website and sign-up for their email newsletter to get 10% off your first purchase.

CHI Aloe Vera Oil for Bouncy, Beautiful Curls and Waves

CHI Aloe Vera Oil for Bouncy, Beautiful Curls and Waves

I’ve been enjoying the summer with my friends and family—fun-filled afternoons by the pool, an evening at the county fair and sunny days at the beach. I tend to worry less about what’s going on with my hair in the summer and just embrace the curl. I was recently introduced to a new product that makes those summer hairstyles much easier to manage and protect—CHI Aloe Vera Oil, which is part of a new line of products from CHI.

Now at ULTA Beauty, CHI just launched a brand new 7-piece line for waves and texture called CHI Aloe Vera with Agave Nectar. This line was developed for women with natural curls and texture. The collection provides solutions to enhance definition, moisturize hair, and maintain frizz for smoother styling.

CHI Aloe Vera Oil for Bouncy, Beautiful Curls and Waves

With its special blend of Aloe Vera and Agave Nectar paired with a Super Hydration blend and a low pH, these products will moisturize, protect and care for curls. What I really like is that the formula locks in moisture to guard against humidity, which I definitely needed on my trip to the east coast!

As I mentioned above, I’ve been trying out the CHI Aloe Vera Oil, which fortifies weak hair strands and reduces breakage and dryness. It seals in moisture and smoothness to control frizz and it provides a high-gloss finish that I love. It keeps my hair looking healthy all day long.

As you might guess, the star ingredient in this product is Aloe Vera, which is packed with essential nutrients and vitamins. It offers excellent conditioning properties and protection and is perfect for soothing a dry scalp. Agave Nectar is another key ingredient in this oil, which helps to prevent future damage and brittleness. It helps to make weak hair stronger and helps to give it a beautiful shine. Simply pump the desired amount of oil onto the palms of your hands and apply from mid-shaft to ends of damp or dry hair. I’ve been using it on dry hair to add that super boost of moisture.

The CHI Aloe Vera Oil is available for $25 at ULTA Beauty. Mix and match the products from this new CHI hair care line to create the perfect blend for your glorious curls. You can connect with CHI Haircare over on Facebook too.
