Letter, Number or Bug is the game of Catch the Match and Win. It’s for ages 3 years and up, for 2-4 players. This particular game reinforces coordination and small motor skills as children pick up cards, Literacy as they match letters and numbers and Mathematics as they count to keep score.

46 Answer Tiles
Instructions

Let’s make exploring letters and numbers really fun! Is the next card a letter, number or bug? Guess correctly, then race to find the matching letter or number on the face-up tiles available. Watch out! When a bug shows up, all players race across the room to grab the bug tile first. The first player to collect 5 matching tiles wins the game!

As a parent, I love quick games that utilize easy-to-understand concepts. There’s nothing complicated about this game, so your child will understand the game concept fairly quickly.  Another thing I appreciate about the game is that it doesn’t come with hundreds of little pieces. Just a few and everything stores nicely within the box.

Letter, Number or Bug Briarpatch Preschool Game

We sat down last weekend to play Letter, Number or Bug. We had 1 adult and 3 children playing it. The kids were ages 4-7 years of age. This game gets kids up and moving, thinking about their next move, teaches them their letters and numbers and teaches them about displaying good sportsmanship when they lose. Not everyone can win every time, an important thing for kids to learn at an early age. It’s small enough (compact in size) that if you’re traveling this spring & summer you can take it along with you. Perfect for vacations or weekends at Grandma’s house.
