Adding plants to your living and work spaces is a great way to add a subtle touch of nature. Studies have found that keeping live plants in rooms can help to create an atmosphere of calmness and tranquility – two things our very busy society can greatly benefit from! While there are many different types of potted plants you can choose from, you will need to take into consideration the type of indoor environment you plan on putting them in. Excessively dry environments, for example, would be hard on just about any indoor plant; while rooms with either too little or too much lighting would also be hard for plants to thrive in.
For offices and commercial buildings especially, it’s recommended that you get in touch with a professional interior plant care company. Companies like these specialize in scoping out the type of indoor environment you wish to place plants in, and they will make recommendations based on temperature, air quality and moisture, and available light sources. While their suggestions may not be perhaps what you envisioned yourself, their recommendations for plants are the ones to follow if you want to successfully keep indoor plants thriving and thus looking their best.
Indoor plant management companies can also help you with the physical arrangement of plants. From choosing the best pots for larger plants, to figuring out how to weave potted plants in with other types of decor (such as hanging paintings or small fountains), having a professional provide step-by-step guidance will make a difference in the final look of your redecorated office.
Once your chosen indoor plants have been selected, set into pots, and set up in your office, you’ll be provided with care sheets. Generally indoor plants are easy to maintain, though you will want to make sure you provide them with the right amount of light. Don’t move plants from one type of lighting to another without first checking with a plant expert. Make sure you water your plants regularly, and if excess water spills out from the top or bottom of a potted plant, blot it up so that it doesn’t sit and become stagnant.
Adding plants to your indoor work environment is a great way to improve ambiance and even the air quality. Take the time to work with a professional indoor plant company, and together you’ll be able to make over your work environment with just the right type of nature.

I have a horrible time choosing a hardy plant that will thrive. then there’s figuring out the right pot and way to care for it. I’m glad there are companies out here to help. Plants add a cozy, warm touch to your space.
I have hanging pot plants in my living room, always keep flowers in the kitchen, and have a few plants on my patio. It really does create a wonderful relaxing atmospshere for me.
I wish I could have such a great service for my home! I am terrible with indoor plants, and have even been able to kill a Mother-in-Law plant and a rosemary bush!
I wish I had a green thumb. I’d love to be able to make plants thrive. I just don’t seem to have it, lol!
I have always found that adding plants to a work or home environment adds something to the ambiance, freshens the air and make me feel better. I always had plants where I worked and at home.
And at most work places there are no cats to eat them or babies to pull them down!
