For my review I was sent a full-size bottle of the Apothederm Brightening Cleanser to try out for all of you. Before I get started with my review…I do want to say that I am starting to see signs of aging on my face! I am 46 years old and have always properly cleansed my skin.
The Brightening Cleanser not only cleanses your skin, it also refines, brightens and tones. Formulated with malic acid and vitamin C, this cleanser helps loosen dead skin cells and hydrates your skin. It is dermatologist tested and fragrance free.
To Use: Gently massage into face & neck for 10-15 seconds. Rinse well with warm water & pat dry. You can use this product twice a day, morning and evening. Avoid getting the product in your eyes.
My Thoughts: I have one of those sonic facial cleansing tools and decided to try out this cleanser while using that with the soft brush attachment. I first wet my face and then applied the cleanser. I used my sonic tool with the cleanser to help loosen up the dead skin cells and then rinsed it off with warm water.
This facial cleanser has no fragrance to it at all and I appreciate that as I don’t like fragrance in any of my facial skin care products. It has a really nice consistency to it, thicker than water but thinner than a cream. It goes onto your skin really nicely and rinses off very easily. It doesn’t leave any stickiness, greasiness or residue behind. Your skin feels super clean!
Some cleansers dry out your skin and this one doesn’t do that at all. Further more, it didn’t tighten up my skin either. I have been using it for about 9 days now and I really love how easy it is to use and I do think that my skin looks healthier and brighter since I started using it. In my beauty book, it’s a real winner!!!

I’d love to get rid of those horrible spots left over from acne when I was a kid – for some reason they seem to have started to appear more dark lately. This may do the trick.
This skin brightening cream sounds like a very good one. I appreciate that it doesn’t dry out your skin like so many others. However, isn’t it supposed to tighten your skin and don’t you want to feel some tightening of the skin?
I need to get some of this face brightening face cleanser because I have a dull complexion right now. This product sounds like it really works. I will have to look into getting it.
