When you think of compression tights, your first thought may shift to elderly women hobbling around in garish nylons that contrast starkly against a dress with a floral pattern. However, such tights aren’t just for those who are mature in age.
Athletes commonly use tights to sooth muscle ache from rigorous training sessions. In competitive fields, such players must give it their all to make their bodies as efficient as possible. Nutrition and exercise routines must be taken seriously to yield the best results, and tights will only improve the recovery process, making it that much easier to reach the next level.
Pregnant women can also benefit from using tights. Swelling and discomfort in the ankles and legs is very common in later months of pregnancy. And the symptoms felt are similar to those with varicose veins and other circulatory issues. The constricted feeling of the tights will encourage blood flow and lessen the degree of pain and heaviness.
What’s also nice is that you don’t have to resort to tights that are lackluster and dull in appearance. You can find a variety of tights designed for therapy that are actually quite fashionable, or at the very least, un-noticeable. You’ll be able to wear any of your regular outfits without anyone being the wiser.
If you’re having trouble finding tights in your own neighborhood, you can easily find them online. It will likely be cheaper as well, and you’re sure to find a wider array of options to match your needs.

I don’t need compression tights, but my spouse is taking a trip to Europe soon and I’d feel a lot better if he had some comfortable compression socks for the long flight. Therapy Stockings has men’s compression socks as well as free shipping. Thanks for the timely link.

My daughter-in-law wears compression shorts for her marathons. They really do help with leg cramps and pains. If you are on your feet a lot, compression socks or tights are a good idea to help with swelling and cramping. I didn’t know they came in colors though. We just bought the ones to try not to be noticeable. Great idea!
I had not realized that one could now get compression tights in such a variety of colors and even designs as shown by those on the women in the photos on Therapy Stockings .com.
