I am a member of the Fox Home Entertainment Insiders Club and was recently asked to host a house party to honor the upcoming DVD release for The Croods. I was really excited to receive their opportunity because we took our grand daughter to see The Croods when it was in the movie theater and she loved it!
The Croods is coming to Blu-ray and DVD and will be available starting on October 1st, 2013. With the holiday swiftly approaching…you will want to pick up a copy of this DVD for all of the families and children on your holiday gift-giving list.
We will be hosting our The Croods house party on September 28th, 2013 and have invited 11 children and 5 adult guests. I will be co-hosting the party with my daughter Jenelle (she is a reviewer on this blog too). We will be playing some fun games, doing some activities with the kids and will be watching The Croods on DVD. After our movie time…some great foods & beverages will be served!
We invited 7 children that we know (including my grand daughter/her daughter) but we also wanted to do something a little different. We found 4 children through our church that are under-privledged children who’s families are having a rough time. Those 4 children will be attending and we are hoping it will bring smiles to their faces & joy to their hearts…even if it’s only for a few hours.
The great folks over at Fox Home Entertain Insiders Club are giving each child in attendance a party goody bag filled with all kinds of fun things related to The Croods movie. I know the little kids are going to be super excited to receive them.
Once our party is over…(a few days later) I will be publishing a post all about our The Croods house party along with some photos of the kids having some fun. Stay tuned for that post in early October.
