Dealing With Age Spots and Blotchy Skin

When it comes to skin care, it is amazing and what science can do to solve a problem. There are so many different skin problems that men and women have but thankfully there are answers for a lot of those issues now. I know as I get older, I am seeing more and more of those dreaded age spots on my hands and while it is an annoyance for me, there are many more people that have blotchy and uneven skintone from hyperpigmentation.

Well, because I hate seeing those age spots I went on the hunt for something that would lighten them and get rid of them eventually. I found many drug store creams that said they would do the job, but I was looking for something that was a bit stronger. What I found was a skin lightening skin care product line at Iderma called Elure. Elure was named by Allure as one of the Beauty Breakthrough products of 2011 so I knew I needed to learn more about this product line and share it with you.

Hyperpigmentation, or the increase of pigmentation in our skin that produces spots or darker areas, is caused by an increase in melanin. Many people get it from UVB rays from excessive sun exposure or acne, plus there are many different diseases that have a side effects that causes hyperpigmentation too. Skin lightening creams have had a positive effect in reducing the dark spots and the Elure line takes it a step further.

Using the Elure skin lightening products, people have seen a greater increase in the reduction of the spots over a traditional topical use ingredient, Hydroquinone. What the creators of Elure used in their products is called Melanozyme, which is an enzyme that actually breaks down the melanin that is accumulating on the skin producing the dark spots. You use the night cream or the lotion and the enzyme starts breaking down the spot and then your natural exfoliation and the lovely Elure Facial Wash helps remove them from your skin. Brilliant!

People are seeing excellent results with the Elure products. Staying out of the sun and using sun screen is a must if you are using these products and it is a good suggestion anyway. So if you are someone that is suffering from excessive sun spots, age spots, blotchy skin or whatever you want to call it, this maybe a product worth your time to check into.

I have been thinking about getting something to reduce age spots/discoloration. Thanks for the info. Now I’ll go see how much it costs.
